This peer-reviewed journal, established in 1973, uses the lenses of industrial and business economics to investigate issues relevant to scholars, managers and policy makers. The key areas of interest of JIBE are: industrial organization and policy; international business and international economics; innovation and entrepreneurship; corporate governance and finance. Within these key areas, JIBE pays special attention to topics relating to grand challenges in a transforming world. A non exhaustive list of current issues includes: emergent technologies and industry dynamics; the digitalization of industries and financial markets; evolving multinationals and global value chains; environmental change and green transition; sustainable development of emerging economies; competition, regulation and structural policies in the platform economy. JIBE welcomes papers that combine advancements in the theoretical understanding of phenomena with rigorous, systematic and original evidence-based empirical analysis, using quantitative or qualitative approaches as well as experimental and mixed methods. The journal is open to industry-, firm- and individual-level analyses, while the geographic scope may vary from subnational regions to nations and supra-national contexts, with a particular consideration of the EU and other integration processes. The journal also publishes special issues and symposia aimed at opening debate among scholars on specific topics and discovery-type papers on emerging issues in industrial and business economics. The journal is owned by the Associazione Amici di Economia e Politica Industriale.

International Review of Economics - Journal of Civil Economy (IREC) covers a broad range of macro- and microeconomic topics, and showcases high-quality empirical, theoretical and policy-oriented contributions. In particular, IREC welcomes papers focused on the analysis of social interactions, wellbeing, welfare and happiness, capabilities, reciprocity, trust, relational goods, formal and informal institutions, law and economics, prizes and incentives, economics and philosophy, economic theology, the history of economic thought, non-profit organizations, and social economy. Civil Economy refers to a 18th-century Southern European tradition, which views the market as a pre-condition for civilization. Schmalenbach Journal of Business Research (SBUR) is the joint official journal of Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft für Betriebswirtschaft e.V. and Verband der Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft e.V. (VHB), replacing the associations‘ former official journals Business Research (BuR), Schmalenbach Business Review (SBR), and building on Schmalenbachs Zeitschrift für betriebswirtschaftliche Forschung (ZfbF). The three journals were merged to form SBUR and ceased to publish under their previous names. SBUR publishes in the English language only. SBUR is a fully Open Access journal. About SBUR Schmalenbach Journal of Business Research (SBUR) is an international English-language journal that publishes original high-quality research that is of wide interest to business research and practice. Its scope includes traditional and emerging business administration areas, including among others accounting, finance, marketing, strategic management, organization, human resource management, production and logistics management, taxation, digital business, and entrepreneurship. SBUR is open for cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research. State-of-the-art review articles and thought pieces are welcome as well. Articles apply rigorous research methodologies that fit the research questions to establish their scientific findings, such as analytical modeling, archival empirical and experimental, field and case research. To ensure high-quality scientific standards, articles submitted to SBUR are subject to a rigorous double-blind peer review, that is, reviewers are anonymous to the authors and do not see the names or affiliations of the authors. SBUR endorses the Open Science philosophy and operates under Gold Open Access, so all published articles are freely and permanently available and accessible through this website.
