The aim of “EURASIP Journal on Audio, Speech, and Music Processing” is to bring together researchers, scientists and engineers working on the theory and applications of the processing of various audio signals, with a specific focus on speech and music. Ever since its inception, Noise Mapping has been offering fast and comprehensive peer-review, while featuring prominent researchers among its Advisory Board. As a result, the journal is set to acquire a growing reputation as the main publication in the field of noise mapping, thus leading to a significant Impact Factor. The journal aims to promote and disseminate knowledge on noise mapping through the publication of high quality peer-reviewed papers focusing on the following aspects: noise mapping and noise action plans: case studies; models and algorithms for source characterization and outdoor sound propagation: proposals, applications, comparisons, round robin tests; local, national and international policies and good practices for noise mapping, planning, management and control; evaluation of noise mitigation actions; evaluation of environmental noise exposure; actions and communications to increase public awareness of environmental noise issues; outdoor soundscape studies and mapping; classification, evaluation and preservation of quiet areas.

Acta Acustica, the Journal of the European Acoustics Association (EAA). After the publication of its Journal Acta Acustica from 1993 to 1995, the EAA published Acta Acustica united with Acustica from 1996 to 2019. From 2020, the EAA decided to publish a journal in full Open Access. See Article Processing charges. Acta Acustica reports on original scientific research in acoustics and on engineering applications. The journal considers review papers, scientific papers, technical and applied papers, short communications, letters to the editor. International Journal of Aeroacoustics is a peer-reviewed journal publishing developments in all areas of fundamental and applied aeroacoustics. Fundamental topics include advances in understanding aeroacoustics phenomena; applied topics include all aspects of civil and military aircraft, automobile and high speed train aeroacoustics, and the impact of acoustics on structures. As well as original contributions, state of the art reviews and surveys will be published. Subtopics include, among others, jet mixing noise; screech tones; broadband shock associated noise and methods for suppression; the near-ground acoustic environment of Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing (STOVL) aircraft; weapons bay aeroacoustics, cavity acoustics, closed-loop feedback control of aeroacoustic phenomena; computational aeroacoustics including high fidelity numerical simulations, and analytical acoustics.

Contemporary research into spoken language employs a wide range of approaches, from instrumental measures to perceptual and neurocognitive measures, to computational models, for investigating the properties and principles of speech in communicative settings across the world’s languages. 'Phonetica' is an international interdisciplinary forum for phonetic science that covers all aspects of the subject matter, from phonetic and phonological descriptions of segments and prosodies to speech physiology, articulation, acoustics, perception, acquisition, and phonetic variation and change. 'Phonetica' thus provides a platform for a comprehensive understanding of speaker-hearer interaction across languages and dialects, and of learning contexts throughout the lifespan. Papers published in this journal report expert original work that deals both with theoretical issues and with new empirical data, as well as with innovative methods and applications that will help to advance the field.
