Marine Resource Economics (MRE) publishes creative and scholarly economic analyses of a range of issues related to natural resource use in the global marine environment. The scope of the journal includes conceptual and empirical investigations aimed at addressing real-world oceans and coastal policy problems. Examples include studies of fisheries, aquaculture, seafood marketing and trade, marine biodiversity, marine and coastal recreation, marine pollution, offshore oil and gas, seabed mining, renewable ocean energy sources, marine transportation, coastal land use and climate adaptation, and management of estuaries and watersheds.

Fisheries Management and Ecology is a journal with an international perspective. It presents papers that cover all aspects of the management, ecology and conservation of inland, estuarine and coastal fisheries. The Journal aims to: foster an understanding of the maintenance, development and management of the conditions under which fish populations and communities thrive, and how they and their habitat can be conserved and enhanced; promote a thorough understanding of the dual nature of fisheries as valuable resources exploited for food, recreational and commercial purposes and as pivotal indicators of aquatic habitat quality and conservation status; help fisheries managers focus upon policy, management, operational, conservation and ecological issues; assist fisheries ecologists become more aware of the needs of managers for information, techniques, tools and concepts; integrate ecological studies with all aspects of management; ensure that the conservation of fisheries and their environments is a recurring theme in fisheries and aquatic management.

Transactions of the American Fisheries Society is a highly regarded international journal of fisheries science that has been published continuously since 1872. It features results of basic and applied research in genetics, physiology, biology, ecology, population dynamics, economics, health, culture, and other topics germane to marine and freshwater finfish and shellfish and their respective fisheries and environments.

Turkish Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences" (TrJFAS) is a refereed academic journal has been published by Central Fisheries Research Institute of Turkey and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and published in English. It aims to address research and needs of all working and studying within the many varied areas of fisheries and aquatic sciences. The Journal publishes English language original research papers, critical review articles, short communications and technical notes on applied or scientific research relevant to freshwater, brackish and marine environments. TrJFAS was published biannually (April & November) between 2001 and 2009. A great number of manuscripts have been submitted to the journal for review from acceptance of the SCI index. Thereby, the journal has been published quarterly (March, June, September and December) from 2010 to 2017. The journal will be published monthly in 2018.

Fisheries Science is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Fisheries Science, which was established in 1932. Recognized as a leading journal in its field, Fisheries Science is respected internationally for the publication of basic and applied research articles in a broad range of subject areas relevant to fisheries science. All articles are peer-reviewed by at least two experts in the field of the submitted paper. Published six times per year, Fisheries Science includes about 120 articles per volume. It has a rich history of publishing quality papers in fisheries, biology, aquaculture, environment, chemistry and biochemistry, food science and technology, and Social Science.

ACTA ICHTHYOLOGICA ET PISCATORIA (AIeP) is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes articles based on original experimental data or experimental methods, or new analyses of already existing data, in any aspect of ichthyology and fisheries (fin-fish only).

The North American Journal of Fisheries Management promotes communication among fishery managers with an emphasis on North America, and addresses the maintenance, enhancement, and allocation of fisheries resources. It chronicles the development of practical monitoring and management programs for finfish and exploitable shellfish in marine and freshwater environments. Contributions relate to the management of fish populations, habitats, and users to protect and enhance fish and fishery resources for societal benefits. Case histories of successes, failures, and effects of fisheries programs help convey practical management experience to others.

The North American Journal of Aquaculture publishes papers on new research and practical experience in all areas of intensive and extensive fish culture. Topics include broodstock selection and spawning, nutrition and feeding, health and water quality, facilities and production technology, and the management of ponds, pens, and raceways. The journal will consider papers dealing with ways to improve the husbandry of any aquatic species—marine or freshwater, vertebrate or invertebrate—raised for commercial, scientific, recreational, enhancement, or restoration purposes that may be of interest to practitioners in North America. Its scope includes both basic and applied science, but applied scientific endeavors—including practical experiences, descriptive studies, and other nontraditional, but pertinent works—are emphasized.

To publish original articles of research and short communications in the following áreas: Fisheries, Aquaculture, Zootechnology, Limnology, Oceanography, Biology and Pathology of aquatic organisms. The publication depends on the approval of the Editorial Board, based on the peer review.
