French Politics

Springer Nature•ISSN: 1476-3419 / 1476-3427•United Kingdom
1
Clarivate IF

In recent times, the study of France has been changing. Globalisation, Europeanisation, and interdependence have meant that it is less easy to see developments in contemporary France in a purely national context. External factors have intruded on the French political system. In the academic context the trend towards large-scale collaboration in comparative projects has meant an increasing opportunity for bringing France into the mainstream of academic research. Long considered to be an exceptional case, recent scholarship in political science has tended to emphasize the points of comparison between France and other polities. In short, the context of French politics is changing and the study of French politics is changing. French Politics is designed to reflect these developments. It is an international, peer-reviewed journal of the highest quality that promotes the study of contemporary and comparative French politics, policy and society. In addition to the focus on France, the journal has taken the decision to publish papers on the politics of Francophone countries and regions generally. Among others, we welcome submissions on Quebec, Francophone Belgium and Switzerland, and countries in Francophone Africa. We encourage submissions that adopt a comparative perspective as well as stand-along papers on these countries and regions.' The journal focuses on the role of political institutions, political behaviour, public policy, political economy, international relations, public administration and public law. It particularly encourages and welcomes submissions that seek to incorporate the French and Francophone cases into more broad comparative and cross-national analyses, and that use these cases in theory-testing and theory building. The journal also seeks contributions from a wide variety of methodological perspectives, including institutional analysis (historical, empirical, sociological), behavioural studies (survey data and timeseries analysis), rational choice (including game theory and rational choice institutionalism), political theory, political sociology and post-modern approaches (cultural theory).

The International Journal for the Semiotics of Law is the leading international journal in Legal Semiotics worldwide.   We are pathfinders in mapping the contours of Legal Semiotics.   We provide a high quality blind peer-reviewing process to all the papers via our online submission platform with well-established expert reviewers from all over the world. Our boards reflect this vision and mission.   We welcome submissions in English or in French.   We bridge different fields of expertise to allow a percolation of experience and a sharing of this advanced knowledge from individual, collective and/or institutional fields of competence.   We publish original and high quality papers that should ideally critique, apply or otherwise engage with semiotics or related theory and models of analyses, or with rhetoric, history of political and legal discourses, philosophy of language, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, deconstruction and all types of semiotics analyses including visual semiotics. We also welcome submissions, which reflect on legal philosophy or legal theory, hermeneutics, the relation between psychoanalysis and language, the intersection between law and literature, as well as the relation between law and aesthetics.   We encourage researchers to submit proposals for Special Issues so as to promote their research projects. Submissions should be sent to the EIC.   We aim at publishing Online First to decrease publication delays, and give the possibility to select Open Choice.   Our goal is to identify, promote and publish interdisciplinary and innovative research papers in legal semiotics.

Review of Industrial Organization

1
Clarivate IF

New Online Manuscript Submission System The Review of Industrial Organization publishes research papers on all aspects of industrial organization, broadly defined. A main focus is on competition and monopoly, in their many forms and processes and their effects on efficiency, innovation, and social conditions. Topics may range from the internal organization of enterprises to wide international comparisons. The Review is also increasing its interest in papers on public policies such as antitrust, regulation, deregulation, public enterprise, and privatization. Papers may deal with any economic sectors and any developed economies. The Review continues its primary interest in ideas that can be verified by econometric evidence, case studies, or other real conditions. But the Review also seeks papers that advance significant theories of industrial organization and policy. Papers using abstract techniques and econometric tests should present the methods and analysis in plain enough English so that non-specialist readers can evaluate the content. The Review welcomes submissions from any source, and the Editors will make every effort to have papers reviewed quickly and to give prompt decisions. The Editors will also seek to arrange symposia on specific topics, and they are open to proposals for grouped papers. They also welcome shorter notes and commentaries on topics of interest to the profession. Officially cited as: Rev Ind Organ

EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF PLASTIC SURGERY

Springer Nature•ISSN: 0930-343X / 1435-0130•Germany
0.9
Clarivate IF

Europe has always been an area of dynamic development in plastic surgery. Its great strength has been the lack of uniformity of this development due to differing cultures, different traditions, and differing medical and surgical philosophies. Over the recent years, these changes have been even more striking and rapid. The European Journal of Plastic Surgery creates a focal point for the input of new advances in clinical techniques and in research. It thus becomes an educational vehicle. In addition to this, the journal provides information on what is going on elsewhere in the world, and it is also willing to accept contributions from outside of Europe. Fields of interest include general plastic and reconstructive surgery, head and neck surgery, aesthetic and craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, treatment of bones, trauma, burn management and basic research related to all aspects of plastic surgery.Submitted articles are first evaluated by the Editor in Chief and if judged appropriate, are peer-reviewed by at least two selected experts. Reviewers may be plastic surgeons or other surgical/ medical specialists with expertise in specific areas of research. Manuscripts provisionally accepted for publication may be returned to the author for corrections or clarifications, in response to suggestions by the Editorial Board or external reviewers, prior to final acceptance.  Online submission and peer review for rapid online publication are offered through the Editorial Manager System. The system creates a PDF version of the submitted article for peer review, revision and proofing. All correspondence, including the request for revisions and final decision, is managed by e-mail. Authors are guided step by step through the full process and are kept up to date on the article’s progress at every stage.  Manuscripts submitted for publication must contain a statement to the effect that all human studies have been reviewed by the appropriate ethics committee and have therefore been performed in accordance with the ethical standards laid down in an appropriate version of the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki. It should also be stated clearly in the text that all persons gave their informed consent prior to their inclusion in the study. Details that might disclose the identity of the subjects under study should be omitted.Reports of animal experiments must state that the 'Principles of laboratory animal care' (NIH publication No. 86-23, revised in 1985) were followed, as well as specific national laws (e.g. the current version of the German Law on the Protection of Animals) where applicable.Acknowledgments of people, grants, funds, etc. should be placed in a separate section before the reference list. The names of funding organizations should be written in full. Authors are also required to disclose any relationships with public or private commercial or noncommercial entities, any institutional affiliations, or any personal associations that might pose a conflict of interest. The Editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with the above-mentioned requirements. The author will be held responsible for false statements or for failure to fulfill the above-mentioned requirements.
