Morphology

Springer Nature•ISSN: 1871-5621 / 1871-5656•Netherlands
1.6
Clarivate IF

Aim The aim of Morphology is to publish high quality articles that contribute to the further articulation of morphological theory and linguistic theory in general, or present new and unexplored data. Relevant empirical evidence for the theoretical claims in the articles will be provided by in-depth analyses of specific languages or by comparative, cross-linguistic analyses of the relevant facts. The sources of data can be grammatical descriptions, corpora of data concerning language use and other naturalistic data, and experiments. Scope Morphology publishes articles on morphology proper, as well as articles on the interaction of morphology with phonology, syntax, and semantics, the acquisition and processing of morphological information, the nature of the mental lexicon, and morphological variation and change. Its main focus is on formal models of morphological knowledge, morphological typology (the range and limits of variation in natural languages), the position of morphology in the architecture of the human language faculty, and the evolution and change of language. In addition, the journal deals with the acquisition of morphological knowledge and its role in language processing. Articles on computational morphology and neurolinguistic approaches to morphology are also welcome. The first volume of Morphology appeared as Volume 16 (2006). Previous volumes were published under the title Yearbook of Morphology.

Ethical Theory and Moral Practice

Springer Nature•ISSN: 1386-2820 / 1572-8447•Netherlands
1.5
Clarivate IF

Ethical Theory and Moral Practice is a double-anonymous peer-reviewed philosophical journal which aims to publish the best work produced in all fields of practical philosophy. It welcomes high-quality, rigorous and original, submissions regardless of the traditions or schools of thought from which they derive. As an editorial priority, however, published papers should be accessible to the philosophical community at large and as free as possible of unnecessary jargon. Ethical Theory and Moral Practice publishes work on ethical theories that address practical problems, as well as work that presents or examines empirical findings regarding moral practices relevant for ethical theorizing. The journal therefore actively seeks to promote cross-fertilization across areas of practical philosophy—such as moral, political, legal, and social philosophy—and more empirical disciplines, such as medicine, economics, sociology, political science, and psychology. It welcomes work in applied ethics provided that it can offer theoretical or normative contributions to larger philosophical debates. The journal also considers historically-oriented contributions provided they are not mainly exegetical and can offer insights for current debates in practical philosophy. The journal endorses the BPA/ SWIP-UK Good Practice for Journals. Further details are available in our Review Policy document.

European Journal of Law and Economics

Springer Nature•ISSN: 0929-1261 / 1572-9990•Netherlands
1.5
Clarivate IF

The European Journal of Law and Economics provides readers with high-quality theoretical and empirical research in which both the legal and economic dimensions merge and combine. The journal welcomes articles that promote a better understanding of legal phenomena, legal decisions made by judges, courts or regulatory agencies, and involving economic tools. Theoretical papers are welcome, provided they have a strong basis in law and economics. We also welcome case studies, as well as empirical analyses – including empirical legal studies – and experimental investigations. The European Journal of Law and Economics does not favor any particular topic, but does have a focus on new and emerging problems. European themes are particularly welcome, because we feel it is important to exploit Europe’s considerable institutional diversity in order to build a more robust body of theory and empirical evidence. However, the purpose of the journal is also to showcase the diversity of law and economics approaches, as supplied by an international mix of authors. Drawing on the support of respected scholars from around the world, who serve as consulting editors and editorial board members, the Editors wish to give contributing authors the opportunity to improve their papers, while also offering them a quick and efficient review process. HUSSERL STUDIES

Springer Nature•ISSN: 0167-9848 / 1572-8501•Netherlands
1.3
Clarivate IF

Husserl Studies is an international forum for the presentation, discussion, criticism, and development of Husserl's philosophy. It also publishes papers devoted to systematic investigations in the various philosophical sub-areas of phenomenological research (e.g., theory of intentionality, theory of meaning, ethics and action theory, etc.), where such work is oriented toward the development, adaptation, and/or criticism of Husserlian phenomenology. Husserl Studies also invites contributions dealing with phenomenology in relation to other directions in philosophy such as hermeneutics, critical theory, and the various modes of analytic philosophy. The aim, in keeping with Husserl's own philosophical self-understanding, is to demonstrate that phenomenology is a reflective and methodologically disciplined form of philosophical inquiry that can and must prove itself through its handling of concrete problems. Thus Husserl Studies provides a venue for careful textual work on Husserl's published and unpublished writings and for historical, systematic, and problem-oriented phenomenological inquiry. It also publishes critical reviews of current work on Husserl, and reviews of other philosophical literature that has a direct bearing on the themes and areas of interest to Husserl Studies.
