The principal aim of Biological Rhythm Research is to cover any aspect of research into the broad topic of biological rhythms. The area covered can range from studies at the genetic or molecular level to those of behavioural or clinical topics. It can also include ultradian, circadian, infradian or annual rhythms. In this way, the Editorial Board tries to stimulate interdisciplinary rhythm research. Such an aim reflects not only the similarity of the methods used in different fields of chronobiology, but also the fact that many influences that exert controlling or masking effects are common. Amongst the controlling factors, attention is paid to the effects of climate change on living organisms. So, papers dealing with biometeorological aspects can also be submitted.
The Journal publishes original scientific research papers, review papers, short notes on research in progress, book reviews and summaries of activities, symposia and congresses of national and international organizations dealing with rhythmic phenomena.

The Journal is published both in paper and electronic "online first" format. Manuscripts can be published as full papers or short notes, as well as reviews on methods or theoretical issues related to mammals. Commentaries can also be occasionally accepted, under the approval by the Editor in Chief. Such studies should preferably be submitted as short notes. Manuscripts bearing only a local interest will not be accepted.
Full papers have no limits in length as well as in figure and table number and are abstracted in English. Authors are encouraged to add supplemental material in form of colour figures, original datasets and/or computer program source code.
Supplemental material and colour figures will appear only on the electronic edition.
Short notes must be about 16000 characters long (including title, author names and affiliations, abstract and references), and do not include supplemental material. They are abstracted in English.
Proceedings of symposia, meetings and/or workshops, and technical reports can be published as special supplements to regular issues, under the approval by the Editor in Chief and the Associate Editors.
There are no page charges.

Nematology is an international journal for the publication of all aspects of nematological research (with the exception of vertebrate parasitology), from molecular biology to field studies. Papers on nematode parasites of arthropods, and on soil free-living nematodes, and on interactions of these and other organisms, are particularly welcome. Research on fresh water and marine nematodes is also considered when the observations are of more general interest.
Nematology publishes full research papers, short communications, Forum articles (which permit an author to express a view on current or fundamental subjects), perspectives on nematology, and reviews of books and other media.

The Raffles Bulletin of Zoology (RBZ) is a peer-reviewed journal, which publishes high quality papers in Taxonomy, Ecology and Conservation Biology of animals from Southeast Asia and its adjacent areas.
The journal aims to build up quality information on the “animal diversity” of Southeast Asia in particular. The journal will also publish papers from outside the stated geographic range that deal with material deposited in the Zoological Reference Collection (ZRC) of the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM), National University of Singapore. Both descriptive and experimental papers will be considered. Similarly, both single species (except for insect taxa) and ecosystem studies will be considered for publication. Single species descriptions for insect taxa are not accepted except under strong recommendations from Editors. Manuscripts that are checklists or based on new records will no longer be accepted unless they are of significant scientific value.
Zoological Science is published by the Zoological Society of Japan and devoted to publication of original articles, reviews and editorials that cover the broad field of zoology. The journal was founded in 1984 as a result of the consolidation of Zoological Magazine (1888–1983) and Annotationes Zoologicae Japonenses (1897–1983), the former official journals of the Zoological Society of Japan.
