The Journal of Waterway, Port, Coastal, and Ocean Engineering disseminates to the profession engineering and scientific advances made in the COPRI disciplines. The journal is a strong forum for civil engineering disciplines related to ocean, coastal and riverine waters as well as the interaction of these waters and the adjacent built and natural environments. This broad scope makes the Journal an ideal choice for the publication and dissemination of archival contributions dealing with important related topics. Topics include dredging, floods, sediment transport, tides, wind waves and storm surge, tsunamis, climate change, rising sea level, extreme weather events and other hazards that affect shorelines, waterways, estuaries, and ports and harbors, as well as efforts to mitigate the impact of such hazards. Of equal interest is the development and operation of offshore facilities and ocean resource utilization, such as renewable energy and ocean mining. Types of publications include original journal articles, comprehensive review articles, short technical notes, case studies of special interest to the readership, book reviews, and special issues on selected topics.

The journal Revue Roumaine des Sciences Techniques, Série Électrotechnique et Énergétique was founded in 1955, by the Section of Technical Sciences of the Romanian Academy. It is now published in one volume a year, consisting of 4 issues with a total average number of pages yearly of 480. The review publishes original papers in English, French, German and Russian, representing researches on power economy, electrical power, electrotechnics, electronics, information transmission, computers, control systems in electrical power, thermo power, thermotechnics, bio-medical engineering and connected problems interesting experts in power, electronics, control systems and communications. It reflects especially the fundamental and experimental research activity in power and communications of our country, papers presented at international conferences held in Romania, as well as the contributions of some specialists from abroad. A special part is assigned to reviewing the most relevant books, appearing in Romania and from abroad. The papers published are of high level of the modern sciences and technique and represent original contributions to the development of contemporary power sciences. All manuscripts are strictly referred and only papers of high quality, original and with application of the results, are accepted for publication. By its subjects, Revue is interesting the specialists working in research and education, as well as being candidates for a doctor's degree and the students of the terminal years.

Sensor Review publishes peer reviewed state-of-the-art articles and specially commissioned technology reviews. Systems Engineering is a discipline whose responsibility it is to create and operate technologically enabled systems that satisfy stakeholder needs throughout their life cycle. Systems engineers reduce ambiguity by clearly defining stakeholder needs and customer requirements, they focus creativity by developing a system’s architecture and design and they manage the system’s complexity over time. Considerations taken into account by systems engineers include, among others, quality, cost and schedule, risk and opportunity under uncertainty, manufacturing and realization, performance and safety during operations, training and support, as well as disposal and recycling at the end of life. The journal welcomes original submissions in the field of Systems Engineering as defined above, but also encourages contributions that take an even broader perspective including the design and operation of systems-of-systems, the application of Systems Engineering to enterprises and complex socio-technical systems, the identification, selection and development of systems engineers as well as the evolution of systems and systems-of-systems over their entire lifecycle. Systems Engineering integrates all the disciplines and specialty groups into a coordinated team effort forming a structured development process that proceeds from concept to realization to operation. Increasingly important topics in Systems Engineering include the role of executable languages and models of systems, the concurrent use of physical and virtual prototyping, as well as the deployment of agile processes. Systems Engineering considers both the business and the technical needs of all stakeholders with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the user needs. Systems Engineering may be applied not only to products and services in the private sector but also to public infrastructures and socio-technical systems whose precise boundaries are often challenging to define.
