Clarivate IF

The European Journal of Plant Pathology is an international journal publishing original articles in English dealing with fundamental and applied aspects of plant pathology; considering disease in agricultural and horticultural crops, forestry, and in natural plant populations. The types of articles published are :Original Research at the molecular, physiological, whole-plant and population levels; Mini-reviews on topics which are timely and of global rather than national or regional significance; Short Communications for important research findings that can be presented in an abbreviated format; and Letters-to-the-Editor, where these raise issues related to articles previously published in the journal. Submissions relating to disease vector biology and integrated crop protection are welcome. However, routine screenings of plant protection products, varietal trials for disease resistance, and biological control agents are not published in the journal unless framed in the context of strategic approaches to disease management.

Manuscripts on postharvest processing and quality of crops are also welcomed. Particularly the journal is focused on the following areas: implications of agricultural land use, soil management and climate change on production of biomass and renewable energy, soil structure, cycling of carbon, water, heat and nutrients, biota, greenhouse gases and environment, soil-plant-atmosphere continuum and ways of its regulation to increase efficiency of water, energy and chemicals in agriculture, postharvest management and processing of agricultural and horticultural products in relation to food quality and safety, mathematical modeling of physical processes affecting environment quality, plant production and postharvest processing, advances in sensors and communication devices to measure and collect information about physical conditions in agricultural and natural environments. Papers accepted in the International Agrophysics should reveal substantial novelty and include thoughtful physical, biological and chemical interpretation and accurate description of the methods used. All manuscripts are initially checked on topic suitability and linguistic quality.

Irrigation and Drainage

John Wiley and Sons Ltd•ISSN: 1531-0353 / 1531-0361•England

Clarivate IF

Human intervention in the control of water for sustainable agricultural development involves the application of technology and management approaches to: (i) provide the appropriate quantities of water when it is needed by the crops, (ii) prevent salinisation and water-logging of the root zone, (iii) protect land from flooding, and (iv) maximise the beneficial use of water by appropriate allocation, conservation and reuse. All this has to be achieved within a framework of economic, social and environmental constraints. The Journal, therefore, covers a wide range of subjects, advancement in which, through high quality papers in the Journal, will make a significant contribution to the enormous task of satisfying the needs of the world’s ever-increasing population. The Journal also publishes book reviews.

Published since 1957, the Canadian Journal of Plant Science is a bimonthly journal that contains new research on all aspects of plant science relevant to continental climate agriculture, including plant production and management (grain, forage, industrial, and alternative crops), horticulture (fruit, vegetable, ornamental, greenhouse, and alternative crops), and pest management (entomology, plant pathology, and weed science). Cross-disciplinary research in the application of technology, plant breeding, genetics, physiology, biotechnology, microbiology, soil management, economics, meteorology, post-harvest biology, and plant production systems is also published. Research that makes a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge of crop, horticulture, and weed sciences (e.g., drought or stress resistance), but not directly applicable to the environmental regions of Canadian agriculture, may also be considered. The Journal also publishes reviews, letters to the editor, the abstracts of technical papers presented at the meetings of the sponsoring societies, and occasionally conference proceedings.
