The Journal of Communication Disorders publishes original articles on topics related to disorders of speech, language and hearing. Authors are encouraged to submit reports of experimental or descriptive investigations (research articles), review articles, tutorials or discussion papers, or letters to the editor ("short communications"). Please note that we do not accept case studies unless they conform to the principles of single-subject experimental design. Special issues are published periodically on timely and clinically relevant topics.
Occupational Therapy International is a peer-reviewed journal, publishing manuscripts that reflect the practice of occupational therapy throughout the world. Research studies or original concept papers are considered for publication. Priority for publication will be given to research studies that provide recommendations for evidence-based practice and demonstrate the effectiveness of a specific treatment method. Single subject case studies evaluating treatment effectiveness are also encouraged. Other topics that are appropriate for the journal include reliability and validity of clinical instruments, assistive technology, community rehabilitation, cultural comparisons, health promotion and wellness.
The Australian Occupational Therapy Journal is a leading international peer reviewed publication presenting influential, high quality innovative scholarship and research relevant to occupational therapy. The aim of the journal is to be a leader in the dissemination of scholarship and evidence to substantiate, influence and shape policy and occupational therapy practice locally and globally. The journal publishes empirical studies, theoretical papers, and reviews. Preference will be given to manuscripts that have a sound theoretical basis, methodological rigour with sufficient scope and scale to make important new contributions to the occupational therapy body of knowledge. AOTJ does not publish protocols for any study design
The journal will consider multidisciplinary or interprofessional studies that include occupational therapy, occupational therapists or occupational therapy students, so long as ‘key points’ highlight the specific implications for occupational therapy, occupational therapists and/or occupational therapy students and/or consumers.

NeuroRehabilitation, an international, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal, publishes manuscripts focused on scientifically based, practical information relevant to all aspects of neurologic rehabilitation. We publish unsolicited papers detailing original work/research that covers the full life span and range of neurological disabilities including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disease and other neurological disorders.
We also publish thematically organized issues that focus on specific clinical disorders, types of therapy and age groups. Proposals for thematic issues and suggestions for issue editors are welcomed.

The Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation is the official journal of the Korean Society of Exercise Rehabilitation, and is published six times a year. Supplementary issues may be published. Its official abbreviation is "J Exerc Rehabil". It was launched in 2005. The title of the first volume was Journal of the Korean Society of Exercise Rehabilitation (pISSN 1976-6319). The journal title was changed to Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation from Volume 9 Number 2, 2013. The effects of exercise rehabilitation are very broad and in some cases exercise rehabilitation has different treatment areas than traditional rehabilitation. Exercise rehabilitation can be presented as a solution to new diseases in modern society and it can replace traditional medicine in economically disadvantaged areas. Exercise rehabilitation is very effective in overcoming metabolic diseases and also has no side effects. Furthermore, exercise rehabilitation shows new possibility for neuropsychiatric diseases, such as depression, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, etc. The purpose of the Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation is to identify the effects of exercise rehabilitation on a variety of diseases and to identify mechanisms for exercise rehabilitation treatment. The Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation aims to serve as an intermediary for objective and scientific validation on the effects of exercise rehabilitation worldwide. Pediatric Physical Therapy is an indexed international journal, that publishes peer reviewed research related to the practice of physical therapy for children with movement disorders. The editorial board is comprised of an international panel of researchers and clinical scholars that oversees a rigorous peer review process. The journal serves as the official journal for the pediatric physical therapy professional organizations in the Netherlands, Switzerland, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. The journal includes articles that support evidenced based practice of physical therapy for children with neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and developmental conditions that lead to disorders of movement, and research reports that contribute to the foundational sciences of pediatric physical therapy, ranging from biomechanics and pediatric exercise science to neurodevelopmental science. To these ends the journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews directed to specific clinical questions that further the science of physical therapy, clinical guidelines and case reports that describe unusual conditions or cutting edge interventions with sound rationale. The journal adheres to the ethical standards of theInternational Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin (RCB) publishes articles on rehabilitation counseling with a major emphasis on data-based research reports, although other types of contributions to professional knowledge in rehabilitation counseling will be considered. Examples include articles that explain an innovative technique or application, point/ counterpoint debates on a current controversy challenging the profession, or insightful essays on an important issue. Contributions of these kinds may be considered for a special section of RCB. Article topics cover a wide range—from ethical dilemmas related to counseling clients with HIV/AIDS to clinical problem solving in micro–case management.
Geriatric Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation (GOS) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that provides clinical information concerning musculoskeletal conditions affecting the aging population. GOS focuses on care of geriatric orthopaedic patients and their subsequent rehabilitation. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Physiotherapy Research International is an international peer reviewed journal dedicated to the exchange of knowledge that is directly relevant to specialist areas of physiotherapy theory, practice, and research. Our aim is to promote a high level of scholarship and build on the current evidence base to inform the advancement of the physiotherapy profession. We publish original research on a wide range of topics e.g. Primary research testing new physiotherapy treatments; methodological research; measurement and outcome research and qualitative research of interest to researchers, clinicians and educators. Further, we aim to publish high quality papers that represent the range of cultures and settings where physiotherapy services are delivered. We attract a wide readership from physiotherapists and others working in diverse clinical and academic settings. We aim to promote an international debate amongst the profession about current best evidence based practice. Papers are directed primarily towards the physiotherapy profession, but can be relevant to a wide range of professional groups. The growth of interdisciplinary research is also key to our aims and scope, and we encourage relevant submissions from other professional groups. The journal actively encourages submissions which utilise a breadth of different methodologies and research designs to facilitate addressing key questions related to the physiotherapy practice. PRI seeks to encourage good quality topical debates on a range of relevant issues and promote critical reflection on decision making and implementation of physiotherapy interventions.

Articles may relate to any area of child or adult communication or dysphagia, furthering knowledge on issues related to etiology, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, or theoretical frameworks.
