The Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering (CJChE) publishes original research articles, new theoretical interpretation or experimental findings and critical reviews in the science or industrial practice of chemical and biochemical processes. Preference is given to papers having a clearly indicated scope and applicability in any of the following areas: Fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, multiphase flows, separations processes, thermodynamics, process systems engineering, reactors and reaction kinetics, catalysis, interfacial phenomena, electrochemical phenomena, bioengineering, minerals processing and natural products and environmental and energy engineering. Papers that merely describe or present a conventional or routine analysis of existing processes will not be considered.

Propellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics (PEP) is an international, peer-reviewed journal containing Full Papers, Short Communications, critical Reviews, as well as details of forthcoming meetings and book reviews concerned with the research, development and production in relation to propellants, explosives, and pyrotechnics for all applications. Being the official journal of the International Pyrotechnics Society, PEP is a vital medium and the state-of-the-art forum for the exchange of science and technology in energetic materials. PEP is published 12 times a year. PEP is devoted to advancing the science, technology and engineering elements in the storage and manipulation of chemical energy, specifically in propellants, explosives and pyrotechnics. Articles should provide scientific context, articulate impact, and be generally applicable to the energetic materials and wider scientific community. PEP is not a defense journal and does not feature the weaponization of materials and related systems or include information that would aid in the development or utilization of improvised explosive systems, e.g., synthesis routes to terrorist explosives.

Combustion Theory and Modelling is a leading international journal devoted to the application of mathematical modelling, numerical simulation and experimental techniques to the study of combustion. Articles can cover a wide range of topics, such as: premixed laminar flames, laminar diffusion flames, turbulent combustion, fires, chemical kinetics, pollutant formation, microgravity, materials synthesis, chemical vapour deposition, catalysis, droplet and spray combustion, detonation dynamics, thermal explosions, ignition, energetic materials and propellants, burners and engine combustion. A diverse spectrum of mathematical methods may also be used, including large scale numerical simulation, hybrid computational schemes, front tracking, adaptive mesh refinement, optimized parallel computation, asymptotic methods and singular perturbation techniques, bifurcation theory, optimization methods, dynamical systems theory, cellular automata and discrete methods and probabilistic and statistical methods. Experimental studies that employ intrusive or nonintrusive diagnostics and are published in the Journal should be closely related to theoretical issues, by highlighting fundamental theoretical questions or by providing a sound basis for comparison with theory.
