CJSSP is an edited and peer-reviewed journal, published in yearly volumes of two issues. It publishes original academic articles, research notes, and reviews from sociology, social policy and related fields in English. It invites contributions from the international community of social researchers. The journal covers a widerange of relevant social issues. It is open to new questions, unusual perspectives, explorations and explanations of social and economic behavior, local society, or supranational challenges. Strong preference is given to problem-oriented, theoretically grounded empirical researches, comparative findings, logical arguments and careful methodological solutions. CJSSP aims to respect publication ethics, thus has adopted current best practices to counter plagiarism. The submitted articles are analyzed during the review process, and papers subject to plagiarism are rejected. Also the authors are to comply with the referencing guidelines outlined in the relevant section. The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. With similar objectives we do not charge authors for the publication of their articles. Articles submission and processing is free of charge as well. Users can use and build upon the material published in the journal for non-commercial purposes.

Österreichische Zeitschrift für Soziologie (ÖZS) – Austrian Journal of Sociology was founded in 1976 by the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Soziologie (ÖGS) (“Austrian Sociological Association”). The ÖZS is an academic journal aiming at promoting current debates as well as the exchange of new developments and insights in sociological and social-science research. Its contributions cover the entire range of sociological issues and approaches, including interdisciplinary ones. It is managed by an independent editorial team guaranteeing its autonomy with an international Advisory Board. The ÖZS publishes double-blind peer-reviewed original research articles in German and English from all areas of sociology, including theoretical, empirical, and methodological articles. Research notes (short representations of unpublished, completed projects of broad interest), book reviews, and contributions in response to previous publications in the ÖZS complement each of the four annual issues. Every second issue contains publications on a topical focus. In addition, supplements are published on specific topics on the initiative of sociologists who are not necessarily members of the editorial board. The planning and publication of these special issues are carried out in cooperation with the editors, who also check the issue’s compliance with quality standards. The journal’s target audience encompasses sociologists and social scientists in related fields. The editors support early career sociologists through preliminary evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

The mission of the Journal is a broad exchange of scientific information, and of the results of theoretical and empirical studies of the researchers from different fields of sociology: history of sociology, sociology of management, political sociology, economic sociology, sociology of culture, etc., philosophy, political science, demography – both in Russia and abroad. The articles of the Journal are grouped under ‘floating’ rubrics (chosen specially to structure the main themes of each issue), with the following rubrics as basic: Theory, Methodology and History of Sociological Research Contemporary Society: The Urgent Issues and Prospects for Development Surveys, Experiments, Case Studies Sociology of Organizations Sociology of Management Sociological Lectures. The titles of the rubrics are generally broadly formulated so that, despite the obvious theoretical focus of most articles (this is the principal distinguishing feature of the Series forming the image of the scientific journal), in each section we can publish articles differing substantially in their area of study and subject matter, conceptual focus, methodological tools of empirical research, the country of origin and disciplinary affiliation.

Contributions to Indian Sociology (CIS) is a peer-reviewed journal which has encouraged and fostered cutting-edge scholarship on South Asian societies and cultures over the last 50 years. Its features include research articles, short comments and book reviews. The journal also publishes special issues to highlight new and significant themes in the discipline. CIS invites articles on all countries of South Asia, the South Asian diaspora as well as on comparative studies related to the region. The journal favours articles in which theory and data are mutually related. It welcomes a diversity of theoretical approaches and methods. CIS was founded by Louis Dumont and David Pocock in 1957 but ceased publication in 1966. A new series commenced publication the next year (1967) at the initiative of T.N. Madan with the support of an international group of scholars including Professors Louis Dumont, A.C. Mayer, Milton Singer and M.N. Srinivas. Published annually till 1974, Contributions became a biannual publication in 1975. From 1999, the journal has been published thrice a year.
