Journal of Medical Toxicology (JMT) is a peer-reviewed medical journal dedicated to advances in clinical toxicology, focusing on the diagnosis, management, and prevention of poisoning and other adverse health effects resulting from medications, chemicals, occupational and environmental substances, and biological hazards. As the official journal of the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT), JMT is managed by an editorial board of clinicians as well as scientists and thus publishes research that is relevant to medical toxicologists, emergency physicians, critical care specialists, pediatricians, pre-hospital providers, occupational physicians, substance abuse experts, veterinary toxicologists, and policy makers. JMT articles generate considerable interest in the lay media, with 2016 JMT articles cited by various social media sites, the Boston Globe, and the Washington Post among others. For questions or comments about the journal, please contact jmtinfo@acmt.net. For questions or comments about the journal, please contact jmtinfo@acmt.net.
Journal of Molecular Evolution covers experimental, computational, and theoretical work aimed at deciphering features of molecular evolution and the processes bearing on these features, from the initial formation of macromolecular systems through their evolution at the molecular level, the co-evolution of their functions in cellular and organismal systems, and their influence on organismal adaptation, speciation, and ecology. Topics addressed include the evolution of informational macromolecules and their relation to more complex levels of biological organization, including populations and taxa, as well as the molecular basis for the evolution of ecological interactions of species and the use of molecular data to infer fundamental processes in evolutionary ecology. This coverage accommodates such subfields as new genome sequences, comparative structural and functional genomics, population genetics, the molecular evolution of development, the evolution of gene regulation and gene interaction networks, and in vitro evolution of DNA and RNA, molecular evolutionary ecology, and the development of methods and theory that enable molecular evolutionary inference, including but not limited to, phylogenetic methods.
The Journal of NeuroVirology (JNV) provides a unique platform for the publication of high-quality basic science and clinical studies on the molecular biology and pathogenesis of viral infections of the nervous system, and for reporting on the development of novel therapeutic strategies using neurotropic viral vectors. The Journal also emphasizes publication of non-viral infections that affect the central nervous system. The Journal publishes original research articles, reviews, case reports, coverage of various scientific meetings, along with supplements and special issues on selected subjects. The Journal is currently accepting submissions of original work from the following basic and clinical research areas: Aging & Neurodegeneration, Apoptosis, CNS Signal Transduction, Emerging CNS Infections, Molecular Virology, Neural-Immune Interaction, Novel Diagnostics, Novel Therapeutics, Stem Cell Biology, Transmissable Encephalopathies/Prion, Vaccine Development, Viral Genomics, Viral Neurooncology, Viral Neurochemistry, Viral Neuroimmunology, Viral Neuropharmacology.
The most trusted journal for phase equilibria and thermodynamic research, ASM International's Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion features critical phase diagram evaluations on scientifically and industrially important alloy systems, authored by international experts. The Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion is critically reviewed and contains basic and applied research results, a survey of current literature and other pertinent articles. The journal covers the significance of diagrams as well as new research techniques, equipment, data evaluation, nomenclature, presentation and other aspects of phase diagram preparation and use. Content includes information on phenomena such as kinetic control of equilibrium, coherency effects, impurity effects, and thermodynamic and crystallographic characteristics. The journal updates systems previously published in the Bulletin of Alloy Phase Diagrams as new data are discovered.
The Journal of the Society for Information Display publishes original works dealing with the theory and practice of information display. Coverage includes materials, devices and systems; the underlying chemistry, physics, physiology and psychology; measurement techniques, manufacturing technologies; and all aspects of the interaction between equipment and its users. Review articles are also published in all of these areas. Occasional special issues or sections consist of collections of papers on specific topical areas or collections of full length papers based in part on oral or poster presentations given at SID sponsored conferences.
Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine publishes rapidly and rigorously peer-reviewed research papers, reviews, clinical case reports, perspectives, and short communications on topics relevant to the development of therapeutic approaches which combine stem or progenitor cells, biomaterials and scaffolds, growth factors and other bioactive agents, and their respective constructs. All papers should deal with research that has a direct or potential impact on the development of novel clinical approaches for the regeneration or repair of tissues and organs. The journal is multidisciplinary, covering the combination of the principles of life sciences and engineering in efforts to advance medicine and clinical strategies. The journal focuses on the use of cells, materials, and biochemical/mechanical factors in the development of biological functional substitutes that restore, maintain, or improve tissue or organ function.
