The South African Journal of Animal Science is an open access, peer-reviewed journal for publication of original scientific articles and reviews in the field of animal science. The journal publishes reports of research dealing with production of farmed animal species (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, poultry and ostriches), as well as pertinent aspects of research on aquatic and wildlife species. Disciplines covered nutrition, genetics, physiology, and production systems. Systematic research on animal products, behaviour, and welfare are also invited. Rigorous testing of well-specified hypotheses is expected.

ACTA VETERINARIA BRNO is a scientific journal of the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno, Czech Republic. The scientific journal Acta Veterinaria Brno is dedicated to the publication of original research findings and clinical observations in veterinary and biomedical sciences. Original scientific research articles reporting new and substantial contribution to veterinary science and original methods that have not been submitted for publication elsewhere are considered for publication. A written statement to this effect should accompany the manuscript, along with approval for publication by the author´s head of department. The authors bear full responsibility for the contents of their contribution. Book reviews are published, too.

Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Dergisi is one of the journals’ of Ankara University, which is the first well-established university in the Republic of Turkey. Research articles, short communications, case reports, letter to editor and invited review articles are published on all aspects of veterinary medicine and animal science. The journal is published on a quarterly since 1954 and indexing in Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-Exp) since April 2007.

The quarterly Fishery Bulletin is one of the oldest and most respected fisheries journals in the world. It has been an official publication of the U.S. Government since 1881, under various titles, and is the U.S. counterpart to other highly regarded governmental fisheries science publications. It publishes original research and interpretative articles in all scientific fields that bear on marine fisheries and marine mammal science.

The IJVM journal is a peer reviewed research and clinical journal devoted to reporting original investigations and observations in the field of veterinary medicine with emphasis on the area covering the Middle East and the Mediterranean Basin. The journal accepts review articles, original research articles and case reports. Diagnostic exercise presentations are also accepted. Although the scope of the journal covers mainly the Middle East and the Mediterranean Basin region we will accept articles from all over the world which may be of interest to veterinarians. We recognize that in the “global village” we live today research and findings in other regions of the world may have a bearing on our region and vice versa. The Journal places emphasis on the subject of animal rights. Adherence to principles outlined in the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, is implicit. The journal requires written author verification. The editor retains the right to reject manuscripts on the basis of animal ethical or welfare concerns.

SYLWAN jest najstarszym w Polsce leśnym czasopismem naukowym, jednym z pierwszych na świecie. Został założony w 1820 roku w Warszawie. Przyczynił się w znakomity sposób do rozwoju polskiego leśnictwa, służąc postępowi, upowszechnieniu wiedzy leśnej oraz rozwojowi nauki.

VITIS publishes original scientific papers and critical reviews concerning grapevine biology, molecular biology, breeding, plant pathology, oenology and related fields. Research with a focus on pharmacology or post-harvest technology is not suitable for publication in VITIS.

The Berliner und Münchener Tierärztliche Wochenschrift is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes contributions on all aspects of veterinary public health and its related subjects, such as epidemiology, bacteriology, virology, pathology, immunology, parasitology, and mycology. The journal publishes original research papers, review articles, case studies and short communications on farm animals, companion animals, equines, wild animals and laboratory animals. In addition, the editors regularly commission special issues on topics of major importance. The journal’s articles are published either in German or English and always include an abstract in the other language.

eJHS publishes original research articles and reviews on significant plant science discoveries and new or modified methodologies and technologies with a broad international and cross-disciplinary interest in the scope of global horticulture. eJHS focus is on applied and fundamental aspects of the entire food value chain, ranging from breeding, production, processing, trading to retailing of horticultural crops and commodities in temperate and Mediterranean regions. La Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana es un órgano de difusión de la Sociedad Mexicana de Fitogenética que publica trabajos científicos, originales e inéditos, referentes a las ciencias biológicas aplicadas a recursos genéticos, producción agrícola, biotecnología vegetal, fitomejoramiento genético, fisiología vegetal, tecnología de alimentos vegetales, y otras áreas afines.

The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine publishes articles reporting interdisciplinary investigations concerning veterinary and animal sciences, at all levels of resolution, from basic to clinical, molecular to behavioral, and opinions that are of general interest to the broad community of veterinarians and biological scientists. Clinical or pathological investigations, protocols and reviews will also be considered for publication if they provide significant insight into the structure or function, the pathophysiology of a disease, or its treatment.

AGROCIENCIA is a scientific journal created and sponsored by the Colegio de Postgraduados. Its main objective is the publication and diffusion of agricultural, animal and forestry sciences research results from mexican and foreign scientists. All contributions are peer reviewed. Starting in the year 2000, AGROCIENCIA became a bimonthly and fully bilingual journal (Spanish and English versions in the same issue). Since 2007 appears every month and a half (eight issues per year). In addition to the printed issues, the full content is available in electronic format.

Publica artigos originais de pesquisa sobre temas de medicina veterinária, zootecnia, tecnologia e inspeção de produtos de origem animal e áreas afins relacionadas com a produção animal. Atualmente a revista mantém 628 permutas (419 internacionais e 209 nacionais), sendo um verdadeiro suporte para o recebimento de periódicos pela Biblioteca da Escola. A partir de 1999, a Escola de Veterinária delegou à FEP MVZ Editora o encargo do gerenciamento e edição de todas suas publicações, inclusive do Arquivo, ficando somente com o apoio logístico (instalações, equipamentos, pessoal etc.). O apoio financeiro é exercido pelo CNPq/FINEP e pela própria FEP MVZ.

Philippine Agricultural Scientist (ISSN 0031-7454), an international journal of tropical agriculture and related sciences, is published quarterly by the College of Agriculture and Food Science, University of the Philippines Los Baños, 4031 College, Laguna, Philippines. Articles may be papers and notes on original fundamental or applied research and, to a limited extent, critical research reviews, professorial chair lectures or book reviews on tropical agricultural science and related areas including environmental science, food science, engineering, biotechnology, economics, extension, rural sociology, development communication, agroforestry and silviculture and marine and fishery sciences.
