The goal of this journal is to publish cutting-edge reviews on subjects pertinent to all aspects of diabetes epidemiology, pathophysiology, and management. We aim to provide incisive, insightful, and balanced contributions from leading experts in each relevant domain that will be of immediate interest to a wide readership of clinicians, basic scientists, and translational investigators. We accomplish this aim by appointing major authorities to serve as Section Editors in key subject areas across the discipline. Section Editors select topics to be reviewed by leading experts who emphasize recent developments and highlight important papers published over the past year on their topics, in a crisp and readable format. We also provide commentaries from well-known figures in the field, and an Editorial Board of internationally diverse members suggests topics of special interest to their country/region and ensures that topics are current and include emerging research.
Current Opinion in Chemical Biology is a systematic review journal that aims to provide specialists with a unique and educational platform to keep up to date with the expanding volume of information published in the field of Chemical Biology. The journal publishes 6 issues per year covering the following 10 sections, each of which is reviewed once a year, these are: Omics, Biocatalysis and Biotransformation, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Next Generation Therapeutics, Molecular Imaging, Chemical Genetics and Epigenetics, Synthetic Biology, Synthetic Biomolecules and Mechanistic Biology. There is also a section that changes regularly to reflect hot topics in the field.

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering (FESE) is an international journal for researchers interested in a wide range of environmental disciplines. The journal's aim is to advance and disseminate knowledge in all main branches of environmental science & engineering. The journal emphasizes papers in developing fields, as well as papers showing the interaction between environmental disciplines and other disciplines. FESE is a bi-monthly journal. Its peer-reviewed contents consist of a broad blend of reviews, research papers, policy analyses, short communications, and opinions. Nonscheduled “special issue” and "hot topic", including a review article followed by a couple of related research articles, are organized to publish novel contributions and breaking results on all aspects of environmental field.
Proceedings of the Nutrition Society publishes papers and abstracts presented by members and invited speakers at the scientific meetings of The Nutrition Society. The journal provides an invaluable record of the scientific research currently being undertaken, contributing to 'the scientific study of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health.' The journal is of interest to academics, researchers and clinical practice workers in both human and animal nutrition and related fields.
Advances in Physics publishes authoritative critical reviews by experts on topics of interest and importance to condensed matter physicists. It is intended for motivated readers with a basic knowledge of the journal’s field and aims to draw out the salient points of a reviewed subject from the perspective of the author. The journal's scope includes condensed matter physics and statistical mechanics: broadly defined to include the overlap with quantum information, cold atoms, soft matter physics and biophysics. Readership: Physicists, materials scientists and physical chemists in universities, industry and research institutes.
Applied Materials Today is a multi-disciplinary, rapid-publication journal focused on cutting edge applications of novel materials. New materials discoveries have led to exciting fundamental breakthroughs. Materials research is now moving towards the translation of these scientific properties and principles...
Biomass & Bioenergy is an international journal publishing original research papers and short communications, review articles and case studies on biological resources, chemical and biological processes, and biomass products for new renewable sources of energy and materials. The scope of the journal extends to the environmental, management and economic aspects of biomass and bioenergy. Key areas covered by the journal: • Biomass: sources, energy crop production processes, genetic improvements, composition. Please note that research on these biomass subjects must be linked directly to bioenergy generation. • Biological Residues: residues/rests from agricultural production, forestry and plantations (palm, sugar etc), processing industries, and municipal sources (MSW). Papers on the use of biomass residues through innovative processes/technological novelty and/or consideration of feedstock/system sustainability (or unsustainability) are welcomed. However waste treatment processes and pollution control or mitigation which are only tangentially related to bioenergy are not in the scope of the journal, as they are more suited to publications in the environmental arena. Papers that describe conventional waste streams (ie well described in existing literature) that do not empirically address 'new' added value from the process are not suitable for submission to the journal. • Bioenergy Processes: fermentations, thermochemical conversions, liquid and gaseous fuels, and petrochemical substitutes • Bioenergy Utilization: direct combustion, gasification, electricity production, chemical processes, and by-product remediation • Biomass and the Environment: carbon cycle, the net energy efficiency of bioenergy systems, assessment of sustainability, and biodiversity issues.

Environmental Evidence is the journal of the Collaboration for Environmental Evidence (CEE). The Journal facilitates rapid publication of evidence syntheses, in the form of Systematic Reviews and Maps conducted to CEE Guidelines and Standards. We focus on the effectiveness of environmental management interventions and the impact of human activities on the environment. Our scope covers all forms of environmental management and human impacts and therefore spans the natural and social sciences. Subjects include water security, agriculture, food security, forestry, fisheries, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, climate change, ecosystem services, pollution, invasive species, environment and human wellbeing, sustainable energy use, soil management, environmental legislation, environmental education.
Frontiers in Neuroendocrinology (FIN)is comprised of comprehensive review articles, systematic reviews, opinion pieces, and meta-analyses. Most of the reviews are invited but we welcome unsolicited reviews and meta-analyses, and proposals for thematic special issues provided they meet the quality threshold of the journal. We also encourage authors to submit proposals for commentaries which succinctly raise new ideas or provide additional analysis to further explore ramifications of an article published in FIN. Areas of interest include: Endocrine interactions that influence neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disease Sex differences in clinical populations and in pre-clinical models Stress and stress systems interactions with health and disease Neuroendocrine influences on health across the lifespan from development, puberty, adulthood and aging Microbiota/neuroendocrine interactions with health and disease Neuroendocrine -immune interactions: links to behavior and disease Integrative cellular, molecular and behavioral aspects of hormonally active neuropeptides Comparative and clinical neuroendocrinology Neuroendocrine control of energy balance, glucose homeostasis, and metabolism.
