The Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences (MJMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, fully online journal that is published at least six times a year. The journal’s scope encompasses all aspects of medical sciences including biomedical, allied health, clinical and social sciences. We accept high quality papers from basic to translational research especially from low & middle income countries, as classified by the United Nations & World Bank (https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/ articles/906519), with the aim that published research will benefit back the bottom billion population from these countries. Manuscripts submitted from developed or high income countries to MJMS must contain data and information that will benefit the socio-health and bio-medical sciences of these low and middle income countries. The MJMS editorial board consists of internationally regarded clinicians and scientists from low and middle income countries.

Motor Control (MC), a peer-reviewed journal, provides a multidisciplinary examination of human movement across the lifespan. To keep you abreast of current developments in the field of motor control, it offers timely coverage of important topics, including issues related to motor disorders. This international journal publishes many types of research papers, from clinical experimental to modeling and theoretical studies. These papers come from such varied disciplines as biomechanics, kinesiology, neurophysiology, neuroscience, psychology, physical medicine, and rehabilitation. Motor Control, the official journal of the International Society of Motor Control, is designed to provide a multidisciplinary forum for the exchange of scientific information on the control of human movement across the lifespan, including issues related to motor disorders. Motor Control encourages submission of papers from a variety of disciplines including, but not limited to, biomechanics, kinesiology, neurophysiology, neuroscience, psychology, physical medicine, and rehabilitation. This peer-reviewed journal publishes a wide variety of types of research papers including clinical experimental, modeling, and theoretical studies. To be considered for publication, papers should clearly demonstrate a contribution to the understanding of control of movement. In addition to publishing research papers, Motor Control publishes review articles, quick communications, commentaries, target articles, and book reviews. When warranted, an entire issue may be devoted to a specific topic within the area of motor control.

Neurogenetics publishes findings that contribute to a better understanding of the genetic basis of normal and abnormal function of the nervous system. Neurogenetic disorders are the main focus of the journal. Neurogenetics therefore includes findings in humans and other organisms that help understand neurological disease mechanisms and publishes papers from many different fields such as biophysics, cell biology, human genetics, neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neurology, neuropathology, neurosurgery and psychiatry. All papers submitted to Neurogenetics should be of sufficient immediate importance to justify urgent publication. They should present new scientific results.
