Clarivate IF

Interdisciplinary Sciences--Computational Life Sciences aims to cover the most recent and outstanding developments in interdisciplinary areas of sciences, especially focusing on computational life sciences, an area that is enjoying rapid development at the forefront of scientific research and technology. The journal publishes original papers of significant general interest covering recent research and developments. Articles will be published rapidly by taking full advantage of internet technology for online submission and peer-reviewing of manuscripts, and then by publishing OnlineFirstTM through SpringerLink even before the issue is built or sent to the printer. The editorial board consists of many leading scientists with international reputation, among others, Luc Montagnier (UNESCO, France), Dennis Salahub (University of Calgary, Canada), Weitao Yang (Duke University, USA). Prof. Dongqing Wei at the Shanghai Jiatong University is appointed as the editor-in-chief; he made important contributions in bioinformatics and computational physics and is best known for his ground-breaking works on the theory of ferroelectric liquids. With the help from a team of associate editors and the editorial board, an international journal with sound reputation shall be created.

Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience

Frontiers Media S.A.•ISSN: 1662-5188•Switzerland
3.3
Clarivate IF

Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience is a first-tier electronic journal devoted to promoting theoretical modeling of brain function and fostering interdisciplinary interactions between theoretical and experimental neuroscience. Progress in understanding the amazing capabilities of the brain is still limited, and we believe that it will only come with deep theoretical thinking and mutually stimulating cooperation between different disciplines and approaches. We therefore invite original contributions on a wide range of topics that present the fruits of such cooperation, or provide stimuli for future alliances. We aim to provide an interactive forum for cutting-edge theoretical studies of the nervous system, and for promulgating the best theoretical research to the broader neuroscience community. Models of all styles and at all levels are welcome, from biophysically motivated realistic simulations of neurons and synapses to high-level abstract models of inference and decision making. While the journal is primarily focused on theoretically based and driven research, we welcome experimental studies that validate and test theoretical conclusions. Also: comp neuro

Biometrical Journal

Wiley-VCH Verlag•ISSN: 0323-3847 / 1521-4036•Germany
2.1
Clarivate IF

Biometrical Journal publishes papers on statistical methods and their applications in life sciences including medicine, environmental sciences and agriculture. Methodological developments should be motivated by an interesting and relevant problem from these areas. Ideally the manuscript should include a description of the problem and a section detailing the application of the new methodology to the problem. Case studies, review articles and letters to the editors are also welcome. Papers containing only extensive mathematical theory are not suitable for publication in Biometrical Journal.

Clarivate IF

Among the important scientific developments of the 20th century is the explosive growth in statistical reasoning and methods for application to studies of human health. Examples include developments in likelihood methods for inference, epidemiologic statistics, clinical trials, survival analysis, and statistical genetics. Substantive problems in public health and biomedical research have fueled the development of statistical methods, which in turn have improved our ability to draw valid inferences from data. The objective of Biostatistics is to advance statistical science and its application to problems of human health and disease, with the ultimate goal of advancing the public's health.

International Journal of Biostatistics

Walter de Gruyter GmbH•ISSN: 2194-573X / 1557-4679•United States
1.9
Clarivate IF

The International Journal of Biostatistics (IJB) seeks to publish new biostatistical models and methods, new statistical theory, as well as original applications of statistical methods, for important practical problems arising from the biological, medical, public health, and agricultural sciences with an emphasis on semiparametric methods. Given many alternatives to publish exist within biostatistics, IJB offers a place to publish for research in biostatistics focusing on modern methods, often based on machine-learning and other data-adaptive methodologies, as well as providing a unique reading experience that compels the author to be explicit about the statistical inference problem addressed by the paper. IJB is intended that the journal cover the entire range of biostatistics, from theoretical advances to relevant and sensible translations of a practical problem into a statistical framework. Electronic publication also allows for data and software code to be appended, and opens the door for reproducible research allowing readers to easily replicate analyses described in a paper. Both original research and review articles will be warmly received, as will articles applying sound statistical methods to practical problems.
