The Journal of Spatial Science publishes papers broadly across the spatial sciences including such areas as cartography, geodesy, geographic information science, hydrography, digital image analysis and photogrammetry, remote sensing, surveying and related areas. Two types of papers are published by he journal: Research Papers and Professional Papers. Research Papers (including reviews) are peer-reviewed and must meet a minimum standard of making a contribution to the knowledge base of an area of the spatial sciences. This can be achieved through the empirical or theoretical contribution to knowledge that produces significant new outcomes. It is anticipated that Professional Papers will be written by industry practitioners. Professional Papers describe innovative aspects of professional practise and applications that advance the development of the spatial industry.

Acta geographica Slovenica publishes original research papers from all fields of geography and related disciplines, and provides a forum for discussing new aspects of theory, methods, issues, and research findings, especially in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. The review accepts original research papers and review papers. Papers presenting new developments and innovative methods in geography are welcome. Submissions should address current research gaps and explore state-of-the-art issues. Research based on case studies should have the added value of transnational comparison and should be integrated into established or new theoretical and conceptual frameworks. The target readership is researchers, policymakers, students, and others who are studying or applying geography at various levels. Submissions are accepted in English or Slovenian.
The open access journal will have an expanded scope covering research in all areas of earth, planetary, and environmental sciences, providing a unique publishing choice for authors in the geoscience community.
Journal of Sustainable Mining is a leading international peer-reviewed journal publishing original research, clinical updates, and reviews indexed in Clarivate Web of Science (SCIE) with Q3 quartile ranking.
The journal’s mission is to publish peer-reviewed papers that use modern stratigraphic tools – biostratigraphy, chemostratigraphy, magnetostratigraphy, cyclostratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy, climatostratigraphy, lithostratigraphy, GSSPs and more – to explore broad ideas in earth history.
The Proceedings of the Geologists' Association is an international geoscience journal that was founded in 1859 and publishes research and review papers on all aspects of Earth Science. In particular, papers will focus on the geology of northwestern Europe and the Mediterranean, including both the onshore and offshore record. Following a long tradition, the PGA will focus on: i) a range of article types (see below) on topics of wide relevance to Earth Sciences ii) papers on aspects of Earth Science that have societal relevance including geoconservation and Earth management, iii) papers on palaeoenvironments and palaeontology of the Mesozoic and Cenozoic, iv) papers on aspects of Quaternary geology and climate change, and v) papers on the history of geology with particular reference to individuals that have shaped the subject. These topics will also steer the content of the themes of the Special Issues that are published in the PGA.
BALTICA is an international periodical journal on Earth sciences devoted to the Baltic countries region and the Baltic Sea problems. This edition as a Yearbook is established in 1961 by initiative of Academician Vytautas Gudelis. Since 1993, an Editor-in-Chief of the journal became Academician Algimantas Grigelis. BALTICA is published biannually (in June and December) in cooperation with geoscientists of the circum-Baltic States. BALTICA is publishing original peer-reviewed papers of international interests on various Earth sciences issues. The particular emphasis is given to Quaternary geology, climate changes and development of ecosystems, palaeogeography, environmental geology, as well as stratigraphy, tectonics, sedimentology and surface processes with relevance to the geological history of the Baltic Sea and land areas. Journal emphasizes modern techniques, methodology and standards. The journal structure comprises original articles, short reviews, information, bibliography.
The policy of the Geological Quarterly is to publish significant contributions of information and geological insight relevant to an international readership. The journal has been issued since 1957 at the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute and, at present, is the leading Earth sciences journal in Poland. All aspects of Earth and related sciences, and universal and broad regional rather than locally oriented topics are covered. The journal is intended to be an international forum for the exchange of information and ideas, particularly on important geological topics of Central Europe.
Stratigraphy and Geological Correlation is the only journal that provides comprehensive coverage of the fundamental and applied aspects of stratigraphy and the correlation of geologic events and processes in time and space. Articles are based on the results of multidisciplinary studies and are for researchers, university professors, students, and geologists interested in stratigraphy and the chronological features of the world’s geological record.
Since 1945 Estudios Geologicos publishes original research works, as well as reviews, about any topic on Earth Sciences. Estudios Geologicos is published as one yearly volume, divided into two half-yearly issues. It is edited by the Spanish National Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC) at the Instituto de Geociencias (CSIC-UCM). Estudios Geologicos provides free access to full-text articles through this electronic edition. Accepted articles appear online as "Forthcoming articles" as soon as the galley proofs have been approved by the authors and the Editor-in-Chief. No changes can be made after online publication.

Although published only since 1965, the Scottish Journal of Geology has a long pedigree. It is the joint publication of the Geological Society of Glasgow and the Edinburgh Geological Society, which prior to 1965 published separate Transactions: from 1860 in the case of Glasgow and 1863 for Edinburgh. Traditionally, the Journal has acted as the focus for papers on all aspects of Scottish geology and its contiguous areas, including the surrounding seas. The publication policy has always been outward looking, with the Editors encouraging review papers and papers on broader aspects of the Earth sciences that cannot be discussed solely in terms of Scottish geology. The diverse geology of Scotland continues to provide an important natural laboratory for the study of earth sciences; many seminal studies in geology have been carried out on Scottish rocks, and over the years the results of much of this work had been published in the Journal and its predecessors. The Journal fully deserves its high reputation worldwide and intends to maintain its status in the front rank of publications in the Earth sciences.
This journal publishes original and review articles on geology and related sciences, in Spanish or English, in three issues a year (January, May and September). Articles or notes on major topics of broad interest in Earth Sciences dealing with the geology of South and Central America and Antarctica, and particularly of the Andes, are welcomed. The journal is interested in publishing thematic sets of papers and accepts articles dealing with systematic Paleontology only if their main focus is the chronostratigraphical, paleoecological and/or paleogeographical importance of the taxa described therein.

The journal publishes original scientific articles and reviews on a wide range of problems in theoretical and applied geology. The journal focuses on the following problems: deep geological structure and geodynamic environment of ore formation; distribution pattern of metallogenic zones and mineral deposits; geology and formation environment of large and unique metallic and nonmetallic deposits; mineralogy of metallic and nonmetallic deposits; physicochemical and isotopic characteristics and geochemical environment of ore deposition; evolution of ore-forming systems; radiogeology and radioecology, economic problems in exploring, developing, and mining of ore commodities.
The "Journal of Himalayan Earth Sciences" (JHES) is a biannual journal, managed by the National Centre of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. JHES is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan in "X" Category. The JHES entertains research articles relevant to the field of geosciences. Typical geoscience-related topics include sedimentary geology, igneous, and metamorphic geology and geochemistry, geographical information system/remote sensing related to natural hazards, and geo-environmental issues and earth quake seismology, and engineering and exploration geophysics. However, as the journal name implies, the articles addressing research relevant to the above disciplines in the Himalayan region will be given prime importance and relevance.
