Plant Gene publishes papers that focus on the regulation, expression, function and evolution of genes in plants, algae and other photosynthesizing organisms (e.g., cyanobacteria), and plant-associated microorganisms. Plant Gene strives to be a diverse plant journal and topics in multiple fields will be considered for publication. Although not limited to the following, some general topics include: Gene discovery and characterization, Gene regulation in response to environmental stress (e.g., salinity, drought, etc.), Genetic effects of transposable elements, Genetic control of secondary metabolic pathways and metabolic enzymes. Herbal Medicine - regulation and medicinal properties of plant products, Plant hormonal signaling, Plant evolutionary genetics, molecular evolution, population genetics, and phylogenetics, Profiling of plant gene expression and genetic variation, Plant-microbe interactions (e.g., influence of endophytes on gene expression; horizontal gene transfer studies; etc.), Agricultural genetics - biotechnology and crop improvement.

Brazilian Journal of Botany
The Brazilian Journal of Botany is an international journal devoted to publishing a wide-range of research in plant sciences: biogeography, cytogenetics, ecology, economic botany, physiology and biochemistry, morphology and anatomy, molecular biology and diversity phycology, mycology, palynology, and systematics and phylogeny. The journal considers for publications original articles, short communications, reviews, and letters to the editor. Manuscripts describing new taxa based on morphological data only are suitable for submission; however information from multiple sources, such as ultrastructure, phytochemistry and molecular evidence are desirable. Floristic inventories and checklists should include new and relevant information on other aspects, such as conservation strategies and biogeographic patterns. The journal does not consider for publication submissions dealing exclusively with methods and protocols (including micropropagation) and biological activity of extracts with no detailed chemical analysis.
International Journal of Vegetable Science
The International Journal of Vegetable Science features innovative articles on all aspects of vegetable production, including growth regulation, pest management, sustainable production, harvesting, handling, storage, shipping, and final consumption. Researchers, practitioners, and academics present current findings on new crops and protected culture as well as traditional crops, examine marketing trends in the commercial vegetable industry, and address vital issues of concern to breeders, production managers, and processors working in all continents where vegetables are grown.
Botany Letters
Botany Letters is an international scientific journal, published by the French Botanical Society (Société botanique de France) in partnership with Taylor & Francis. Botany Letters replaces Acta Botanica Gallica, which was created in 1993, building on over a century of renowned publications by the Société botanique de France.
Plant and Fungal Systematics
Plant and Fungal Systematics is a leading international peer-reviewed journal publishing original research, clinical updates, and reviews indexed in Clarivate Web of Science (SCIE) with Q3 quartile ranking.
Botanica Serbica
Botanica Serbica publishes original research papers on all aspects of plant, fungal and microbial biology research including the disciplines of microbiology, mycology, lichenology, bryology, flora, vegetation, biogeography, systematics, taxonomy, plant biotechnology, plant cell biology, plant ecology, environmental plant biology, forestry, genomics, horticulture, limnology, metabolomics, molecular biology, proteomics, virology, plant conservation and protection, and wildlife and ecosystem management.
