JKAS is an international scientific journal publishing papers in all fields of astronomy and astrophysics. All manuscripts are subject to the scrutiny of referees. Manuscripts submitted to JKAS must comply with the ethics policy of JKAS. Six regular issues are published each year on February 28, April 30, June 30, August 31, October 31, and December 31. One year's issues compose one volume.
Astronomische Nachrichten, founded in 1821 by H. C. Schumacher, is the oldest astronomical journal worldwide still being published. Famous astronomical discoveries and important papers on astronomy and astrophysics published in more than 300 volumes of the journal give an outstanding representation of the progress of astronomical research over the last 180 years. Today, Astronomical Notes/ Astronomische Nachrichten publishes articles in the field of observational and theoretical astrophysics and related topics in solar-system and solar physics. Additional, papers on astronomical instrumentation ground-based and space-based as well as papers about numerical astrophysical techniques and supercomputer modelling are covered. Papers can be completed by short video sequences in the electronic version. Astronomical Notes/ Astronomische Nachrichten also publishes special issues of meeting proceedings.
Astrophysical Bulletin is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes the results of original research in various areas of modern astronomy and astrophysics, including observational and theoretical astrophysics, physics of the Sun, radio astronomy, stellar astronomy, extragalactic astronomy, cosmology, and astronomy methods and instrumentation.
Advances in Astronomy publishes articles in all areas of astronomy, astrophysics, and cosmology. The journal accepts both observational and theoretical investigations into celestial objects and the wider universe, as well as the reports of new methods and instrumentation for their study.
Astronomy Letters is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes the results of original research on all aspects of modern astronomy and astrophysics including high energy astrophysics, cosmology, space astronomy, theoretical astrophysics, radio astronomy, extragalactic astronomy, stellar astronomy, and investigation of the Solar system.
Astrophysics (Ap) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal which publishes research in theoretical and observational astrophysics. Founded by V.A.Ambartsumian in 1965 Astrophysics is one of the international astronomy journals. The journal covers space astrophysics, stellar and galactic evolution, solar physics, stellar and planetary atmospheres, interstellar matter. Additional subjects include chemical composition and internal structure of stars, quasars and pulsars, developments in modern cosmology and radiative transfer.
Serbian Astronomical Journal publishes original observations and researches in all branches of astronomy. The journal publishes: Invited Reviews - review article on some up-to-date topic in astronomy, astrophysics and related fields (written upon invitation only), Original Scientific Papers - article in which are presented previously unpublished author's own scientific results, Preliminary Reports - original scientific paper, but shorter in length and of preliminary nature, Professional Papers - articles offering experience useful for the improvement of professional practice i.e. article describing methods and techniques, software, presenting observational data, etc. In some cases the journal may publish other contributions, such as In Memoriam notes, Obituaries, Book Reviews, as well as Editorials, Addenda, Errata, Corrigenda, Retraction notes, etc.
Astronomy Reports is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes original papers on astronomical topics, including theoretical and observational astrophysics, physics of the Sun, planetary astrophysics, radio astronomy, stellar astronomy, celestial mechanics, and astronomy methods and instrumentation.
Artificial Satellites-Journal of Planetary Geodesy is a leading international peer-reviewed journal publishing original research, clinical updates, and reviews indexed in Clarivate Web of Science (SCIE) with Q4 quartile ranking.
Solar System Research publishes articles concerning the bodies of the Solar System, i.e., planets and their satellites, asteroids, comets, meteoric substances, and cosmic dust. The articles consider physics, dynamics and composition of these bodies, and techniques of their exploration. The journal addresses the problems of comparative planetology, physics of the planetary atmospheres and interiors, cosmochemistry, as well as planetary plasma environment and heliosphere, specifically those related to solar-planetary interactions. Attention is paid to studies of exoplanets and complex problems of the origin and evolution of planetary systems including the solar system, based on the results of astronomical observations, laboratory studies of meteorites, relevant theoretical approaches and mathematical modeling. Alongside with the original results of experimental and theoretical studies, the journal publishes scientific reviews in the field of planetary exploration, and notes on observational results.
Contributions of the Astronomical Observatory Skalnate Pleso" (CAOSP) is published by the Astronomical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS). The journal publishes new results of astronomical and astrophysical research, preferentially covering the fields of Interplanetary Matter, Stellar Astrophysics and Solar Physics. We publish regular papers, expert comments and review contributions.
Kinematics and Physics of Celestial Bodies is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes original regular and review papers on positional and theoretical astronomy, Earth’s rotation and geodynamics, dynamics and physics of bodies of the Solar System, solar physics, physics of stars and interstellar medium, structure and dynamics of the Galaxy, extragalactic astronomy, atmospheric optics and astronomical climate, instruments and devices, and mathematical processing of astronomical information.
