The American Journal of Psychology (AJP) was founded in 1887 by G. Stanley Hall and was edited in its early years by Titchener, Boring, and Dallenbach. The Journal has published some of the most innovative and formative papers in psychology throughout its history. AJP explores the science of the mind and behavior, publishing reports of original research in experimental psychology, theoretical presentations, combined theoretical and experimental analyses, historical commentaries, and in-depth reviews of significant books.

INTERDISCIPLINARIA - Revista de Psicología y Ciencias Afines es una publicación científica, semestral, editada por el Centro Interamericano de Investigaciones Psicológicas y Ciencias Afines (CIIPCA) y patrocinada por el Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) y la Universidad del Salvador (USAL). Está dirigida a profesionales, investigadores, docentes y estudiantes y su distribución es internacional. Su misión es difundir los re­sultados de investigaciones en Psicología y ciencias afines. INTERDISCIPLINARIA contiene trabajos originales de investigadores, docentes y profesionales, en español o inglés, con resúmenes bilingües. Dichos trabajos deben ser inéditos y no pueden haber sido publicados en su totalidad o parcialmente, ni pueden haber sido sometidos a consideración de otra revista científica, profesional o académica. Son evaluados por referencistas nacionales e internacionales y su sistema de evaluación es a doble ciego. INTERDISCIPLINARIA presenta artículos metodológicos, teóricos o experimentales, relacionados con el estudio del comportamiento humano y animal. También publica conferencias presentadas en reuniones científicas nacionales e internacionales.

With a new publisher (Taylor & Francis) and a new editor (David L. Wodrich), the Journal of Applied School Psychology will continue to publish articles and periodic thematic issues in 2009. Each submission should rest on either solid theoretical or empirical support and provide information that can be used in applied school settings, related educational systems, or community locations in which practitioners work. Manuscripts appropriate for publication in the journal will reflect psychological applications that pertain to individual students, groups of students, teachers, parents, and administrators. The journal also seeks, over time, novel and creative ways in which to disseminate information about practically sound and empirically supported school psychology practice.
