Journal of Navigation
The Journal of Navigation contains original papers on the science of navigation by man and animals over land and sea and through air and space, including a selection of papers presented at meetings of the Institute and other organisations associated with navigation. Papers cover every aspect of navigation, from the highly technical to the descriptive and historical. Subjects include electronics, astronomy, mathematics, cartography, command and control, psychology and zoology, operational research, risk analysis, theoretical physics, operation in hostile environments, instrumentation, ergonomics, financial planning and law. The journal also publishes selected papers and reports from the Institute’s special interest groups. Contributions come from all parts of the world.
Polish Maritime Research
The scope of the journal covers selected issues related to all phases of product lifecycle and corresponding technologies for offshore floating and fixed structures and their components. All researchers are invited to submit their original papers for peer review and publications related to methods of the design; production and manufacturing; maintenance and operational processes of such technical items as: all types of vessels and their equipment, fixed and floating offshore units and their components, autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) and remotely operated vehicle (ROV). We welcome submissions from these fields in the following technical topics: ship hydrodynamics: buoyancy and stability; ship resistance and propulsion, etc., structural integrity of ship and offshore unit structures: materials; welding; fatigue and fracture, etc., marine equipment: ship and offshore unit power plants: overboarding equipment; etc.
Journal of Marine Science and Technology
The Journal of Marine Science and Technology (JMST), presently indexed in EI and SCI Expanded, publishes original, high-quality, peer-reviewed research papers on marine studies including engineering, pure and applied science, and technology. The full text of the published papers is also made accessible at the JMST website to allow a rapid circulation.
Naval Engineers Journal
Naval Engineers Journal is a leading international peer-reviewed journal publishing original research, clinical updates, and reviews indexed in Clarivate Web of Science (SCIE) with Q4 quartile ranking.
Journal of Ship Research
Original and Timely technical papers addressing problems of shipyard techniques and production of merchant and naval ships appear in this quarterly publication. Since its inception, the Journal of Ship Production and Design (formerly the Journal of Ship Production) has been a forum for peer-reviewed, professionally edited papers from academic and industry sources. As such, it has influenced the worldwide development of ship production engineering as a fully qualified professional discipline. The expanded scope seeks papers in additional areas, specifically ship design, including design for production, plus other marine technology topics, such as ship operations, shipping economic, and safety. Each issue contains a well-rounded selection of technical papers relevant to marine professionals.
Published in 10 issues per year, The Naval Architect is the principal magazine of The Royal Institution of Naval Architects, providing independent, high quality technical information on all aspects of ship design, construction and outfitting of large commercial vessels.
