ASMBI - Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry (formerly Applied Stochastic Models and Data Analysis) was first published in 1985, publishing contributions in the interface between stochastic modelling, data analysis and their applications in business, finance, insurance, management and production. In 2007 ASMBI became the official journal of the International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics (www.isbis.org). The main objective is to publish papers, both technical and practical, presenting new results which solve real-life problems or have great potential in doing so. Mathematical rigour, innovative stochastic modelling and sound applications are the key ingredients of papers to be published, after a very selective review process.
The journal is very open to new ideas, like Data Science and Big Data stemming from problems in business and industry or uncertainty quantification in engineering, as well as more traditional ones, like reliability, quality control, design of experiments, managerial processes, supply chains and inventories, insurance, econometrics, financial modelling (provided the papers are related to real problems). The journal is interested also in papers addressing the effects of business and industrial decisions on the environment, healthcare, social life. State-of-the art computational methods are very welcome as well, when combined with sound applications and innovative models.

The Journal of Fourier Analysis and Applications will publish results in Fourier analysis, as well as applicable mathematics having a significant Fourier analytic component. Appropriate manuscripts at the highest research level will be accepted for publication. Because of the extensive, intricate, and fundamental relationship between Fourier analysis and so many other subjects, selected and readable surveys will also be published. These surveys will include historical articles, research tutorials, and expositions of specific topics.
TheJournal of Fourier Analysis and Applications will provide a perspective and means for centralizing and disseminating new information from the vantage point of Fourier analysis. The breadth of Fourier analysis and diversity of its applicability require that each paper should contain a clear and motivated introduction, which is accessible to all of our readers.
Areas of applications include the following:
antenna theory * crystallography * fast algorithms * Gabor theory and applications * image processing * number theory * optics * partial differential equations * prediction theory * radar applications * sampling theory * spectral estimation * speech processing * stochastic processes * time-frequency analysis * time series * tomography * turbulence * uncertainty principles * wavelet theory and applications

Mathematics of Operations Research is an international journal of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS). The journal invites articles concerned with the mathematical and computational foundations in the areas of continuous, discrete, and stochastic optimization; mathematical programming; dynamic programming; stochastic processes; stochastic models; simulation methodology; control and adaptation; networks; game theory; and decision theory. Also sought are contributions to learning theory and machine learning that have special relevance to decision making, operations research, and management science. The emphasis is on originality, quality, and importance; correctness alone is not sufficient. Significant developments in operations research and management science not having substantial mathematical interest should be directed to other journals such as Management Science or Operations Research.

Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization is a journal aimed at development and applications of functional analysis and operator-theoretic methods in numerical analysis, optimization and approximation theory, control theory, signal and image processing, inverse and ill-posed problems, applied and computational harmonic analysis, operator equations, and nonlinear functional analysis. Not all high-quality papers within the union of these fields are within the scope of NFAO. Generalizations and abstractions that significantly advance their fields and reinforce the concrete by providing new insight and important results for problems arising from applications are welcome. On the other hand, technical generalizations for their own sake with window dressing about applications, or variants of known results and algorithms, are not suitable for this journal.
Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization publishes about 70 papers per year. It is our current policy to limit consideration to one submitted paper by any author/co-author per two consecutive years. Exception will be made for seminal papers.

The journal Statistical Papers addresses itself to all persons and organizations that have to deal with statistical methods in their own field of work. It attempts to provide a forum for the presentation and critical assessment of statistical methods, in particular for the discussion of their methodological foundations as well as their potential applications. Methods that have broad applications will be preferred. However, special attention is given to those statistical methods which are relevant to the economic and social sciences. In addition to original research papers, readers will find survey articles, short notes, reports on statistical software, problem section, and book reviews.
