Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)•ISSN: 0887-3828 / 1943-5509•United States
2.1
Clarivate IF

The Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities attempts to improve the quality of the constructed product through interdisciplinary communication. Papers examine the causes and consequences of failures and other performance problems. The principal purpose of the Journal is to disseminate information on failures and performance deficiencies of constructed facilities. The term “failures” in this context may mean catastrophic events, but also includes any performance deficiency from which a significant lesson can be learned, such as serviceability problems. Both the technical causes and procedural causes of failures are of interest. Procedural causes include human errors in design, construction, and/or operation that allow the failures to occur. The Journal welcomes manuscripts that deal with failures, methods of investigation of failures, special techniques for failure investigations, reconstruction and repair, and issues of ethics.

Clarivate IF

Water International is the official journal of the International Water Resources Association (IWRA), founded in 1972 to serve as an international gateway to the people, ideas and networks that are critical to the sustainable management of water resources around the world. Water International's articles, state-of-the-art reviews, technical notes and other matter are policy-relevant and aimed at communicating in-depth knowledge to a multidisciplinary and international community. Water International publishes both individual contributions and thematic special issues and sections on cutting edge issues. All individual manuscript submissions are subject to initial appraisal and peer review by the Deputy Editor in Chief and the Associate Editors, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by at least one independent, anonymous expert referee. All external peer review is double blind. Thematic issues and sections are handled under comparable procedures by guest editors under the oversight of the Editor in Chief.

Structural Design of Tall and Special Buildings

John Wiley and Sons Ltd•ISSN: 1541-7794 / 1541-7808•England
1.8
Clarivate IF

The Structural Design of Tall and Special Buildings provides structural engineers and contractors with a detailed written presentation of innovative structural engineering and construction practices for tall and special buildings. It also presents applied research on new materials or analysis methods that can directly benefit structural engineers involved in the design of tall and special buildings. The editor's policy is to maintain a reasonable balance between papers from design engineers and from research workers so that the Journal will be useful to both groups. The problems in this field and their solutions are international in character and require a knowledge of several traditional disciplines and the Journal will reflect this. The main subject of the Journal is the structural design and construction of tall and special buildings. The basic definition of a tall building, in the context of the Journal audience, is a structure that is equal to or greater than 50 meters (165 feet) in height, or 14 stories or greater. A special building is one with unique architectural or structural characteristics. However, manuscripts dealing with chimneys, water towers, silos, cooling towers, and pools will generally not be considered for review. The journal will present papers on new innovative structural systems, materials and methods of analysis.
