Clarivate IF

International Journal of Logistics: Research & Applications publishes original and challenging work that has a clear applicability to the business world. As a result the journal concentrates on papers of an academic journal standard but aimed at the practitioner as much as the academic. High quality contributions are therefore welcomed from both academics and professionals working in the field of logistics and supply chain management. Papers should further our understanding of logistics and supply chain management and make a significant original contribution to knowledge. In this context the term "logistics" is taken in its broadest context as "the management of processes, flow of materials and associated information along the entire supply chain.

Benchmarking-An International Journal

Clarivate IF

Benchmarking is big news for companies committed to total quality programmes. Its enthusiastic reception by many prominent business figures has created high levels of interest in a technique which promises big rewards for co-operating partners. Yet, like total quality itself, it must be understood in its proper context, and implemented single mindedly if it is to be effective - this journal helps companies to decide if benchmarking is right for them, and shows them how to go about it successfully.

Journal of Modelling in Management

Emerald•ISSN: 1746-5664 / 1746-5672•United Kingdom
4.7
Clarivate IF

Journal of Modelling in Management (JM2) provides a forum for academics and researchers with a strong interest in business and management modelling. The journal analyses the conceptual antecedents and theoretical underpinnings leading to research modelling processes which derive useful consequences in terms of management science, business and management implementation and applications. JM2 is focused on the utilization of management data, which is amenable to research modelling processes, and welcomes academic papers that not only encompass the whole research process (from conceptualization to managerial implications) but also make explicit the individual links between 'antecedents and modelling' (how to tackle certain problems) and 'modelling and consequences' (how to apply the models and draw appropriate conclusions). The journal is particularly interested in innovative methodological and statistical modelling processes and those models that result in clear and justified managerial decisions. JM2 specifically promotes and supports research writing, that engages in an academically rigorous manner, in areas related to research modelling such as: A priori theorizing conceptual models, Artificial intelligence, machine learning, Association rule mining, clustering, feature selection, Business analytics: Descriptive, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics, Causal analytics: structural equation modeling, partial least squares modeling, Computable general equilibrium models, Computer-based models, Data mining, data analytics with big data, Decision support systems and business intelligence, Econometric models, Fuzzy logic modeling, Generalized linear models, Multi-attribute decision-making models, Non-linear models, Optimization, Simulation models, Statistical decision models, Statistical inference making and probabilistic modeling, Text mining, web mining, and visual analytics, Uncertainty-based reasoning models.

Human Resource Development Review

SAGE•ISSN: 1534-4843 / 1552-6712•United States
4.5
Clarivate IF

As described elsewhere, Human Resource Development Review is a theory development journal for scholars of human resource development and related disciplines. Human Resource Development Review publishes articles that make theoretical contributions on theory development, foundations of HRD, theory building methods, and integrative reviews of the relevant literature. Papers whose central focus is empirical findings, including empirical method and design are not considered for publication in Human Resource Development Review. This journal encourages submissions that provide new theoretical insights to advance our understanding of human resource development and related disciplines. Such papers may include syntheses of existing bodies of theory, new substantive theories, exploratory conceptual models, taxonomies and typology developed as foundations for theory, treatises in formal theory construction, papers on the history of theory, critique of theory that includes alternative research propositions, metatheory, and integrative literature reviews with strong theoretical implications. Papers addressing foundations of HRD might address philosophies of HRD, historical foundations, definitions of the field, conceptual organization of the field, and ethical foundations. Human Resource Development Review takes a multi-paradigm view of theory building so submissions from different paradigms are encouraged.

Journal of Management & Governance

Springer Nature•ISSN: 1385-3457 / 1572-963X•Netherlands
4.5
Clarivate IF

The Journal of Management and Governance (JMG) is an international journal dedicated to advancing the understanding of corporate governance issues within and throughout privately-held firms, publicly-held corporations and government-controlled organizations. The journal is devoted to exploring the links between management and governance through both theoretical analyses and empirical investigations to improve the understanding of all the rules, codes, principles, practices, processes, mechanisms, structure and relationships, as well as institutions, networks and individuals affecting the way firms and organizations are managed, administered and controlled. Since corporate governance is a multi-faceted subject, the journal aims to analyze a broad spectrum of topics and issues related to the management and governance of firms and organizations: strategies and decision-making; accounting, reporting and information control; measurement issues in governance; relational, cognitive and behavioural based; institutional economics. JMG intends to act as an arena of scientific debate within and among academic and professional networks of researchers with a strong interest in investigating how knowledge, preferences and performance are formed and how they influence governance and management practices and policies. Contributions from all areas of business administration (accounting and control, general and strategic management, organizational theory and behaviour, finance and banking) and manuscripts concerning both the private and the public sectors are welcome to the extent that they contribute to these general issues and to the understanding of governance thus broadly defined. JMG is international in authorship and editorship. It follows the internationally shared norms of blind review and research quality standards, but it distinctively and deliberately adheres to a constructive rather than destructive review process approach. The j ournal has various paper formats and methods. Any research strategy is recognised, as long as it effectively addresses the issue at hand and rigorously adheres to the methodology adopted, in survey research or simulation, a case study or a statistical analysis.
