The Journal of Controlled Release (JCR) publishes high-quality research articles in the broad field of delivery science and technology. This includes drug delivery systems and all aspects of formulations, such as physicochemical and biological properties of drugs, design and characterization of dosage forms, release mechanisms, in vivo testing, and formulation research and development in the disciplines of pharmaceutical, diagnostic, agricultural, environmental, cosmetic, and food industries. Manuscripts that advance fundamental understanding of principles and/or demonstrate advantages of novel technologies in safety and efficacy over current clinical standards will be given priority. Each issue has the cover story highlighting the significance of a selected article published in the issue. At the end of each quarter, the JCR editors select "The Editors' Choice" from the published research articles.
Wearable Electronics is a leading international peer-reviewed journal publishing original research, clinical updates, and reviews indexed in Clarivate Web of Science (SCIE) with Q1 quartile ranking.
Covering a much wider field than the usual specialist journals, Earth Science Reviews publishes review articles dealing with all aspects of Earth Sciences, and is an important vehicle for allowing readers to see their particular interest related to the Earth Sciences as a whole. Our readership is more diverse than that of specialist journals: as well as research scientists, also students, government agencies involved in programme support and management and in environmental assessment and control, private industries concerned with planetary resources, and the independent consultant. The journal's vision includes ensuring accessibility for all of these groups.
Every review article published will advance existing knowledge and highlight new directions being taken at the forefront of expanding subject areas by synthesis, evaluation and discussion of previously published literature. The value of such articles to the readership is increased with comment and opinion provided by the author from a specific context. Authors may further enhance their article with the addition of supplementary material such as videos, datasets and applications.
Articles may be extensive, providing comprehensive coverage of a relatively broad or cross-disciplinary subject area, or they may be much shorter providing an in-depth overview of a very specific topic, and authors may choose to include a proportion of their own primary research data to support their arguments. From time to time, 'Invited Earth-Science Reviews' will be published about topics of exceptional interest.

APS (Acta Pharmacologica Sinica) encourages submissions from all areas of pharmacology and the life sciences. Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to, anticancer pharmacology, cardiovascular and pulmonary pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, drug discovery, gastrointestinal and hepatic pharmacology, genitourinary, renal and endocrine pharmacology, immunopharmacology and inflammation, molecular and cellular pharmacology, neuropharmacology, pharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics.
Engineering Geology is an international interdisciplinary journal bridging the fields of the earth sciences and engineering, particularly geological and geotechnical engineering. The focus of the journal is on geological or engineering studies that are of interest to engineering geologists, whether their initial training is in geology or civil/mining engineering. The studies published in this journal must show relevance to engineering, environmental concerns, and safety.
Sample topics of interest include but are not limited to applied geomorphology and structural geology, applied geophysics and geochemistry, environmental geology and hydrogeology, land use planning, natural hazards, remote sensing techniques, soil and rock mechanics and applied geotechnical engineering.
Paper types considered are original research articles, case histories, and comprehensive reviews. Case studies, in particular, should emphasize why the paper is of interest to the international readership of this journal, and/or what new or novel research or theoretical methods are being presented.
The journal is intended for academic scientists, industry and applied researchers, and policy and decision makers.
