Rapid, invited, short reviews and perspectives from academia and industry will constitute the major part of Catalysis Surveys from Asia . Surveys of recent progress and activities in catalytic science and technology and related areas in Asia will be covered regularly as well. We would appreciate critical comments from colleagues throughout the world about articles in Catalysis Surveys from Asia . If requested and thought appropriate, the comments will be included in the journal. We will be very happy if this journal stimulates global communication between scientists and engineers in the world of catalysis.

Journal of Dispersion Science and Technology is an international journal covering fundamental and applied aspects of dispersions, emulsions, vesicles, microemulsions, liquid crystals, particle suspensions and sol-gel processes. The Journal of Physical Organic Chemistry is the foremost international journal devoted to the relationship between molecular structure and chemical reactivity in organic systems. The Journal also presents new developments in applied theoretical kinetics and publishes large kinetic models, and the algorithms and estimates used in these models. Colloid Journal (Kolloidnyi Zhurnal) is the only journal in Russia that publishes the results of research in the area of chemical science dealing with the disperse state of matter and surface phenomena in disperse systems. The journal covers experimental and theoretical works on a great variety of colloid and surface phenomena: the structure and properties of interfaces; adsorption phenomena and structure of adsorption layers of surfactants; capillary phenomena; wetting films; wetting and spreading; and detergency. The formation of colloid systems, their molecular-kinetic and optical properties, surface forces, interaction of colloidal particles, stabilization, and criteria of stability loss of different disperse systems (lyosols and aerosols, suspensions, emulsions, foams, and micellar systems) are also topics of the journal. Journal of Solution Chemistry offers a forum for research on the physical chemistry of liquid solutions in such fields as physical chemistry, chemical physics, molecular biology, statistical mechanics, biochemistry, and biophysics. The emphasis is on papers in which the solvent plays a dominant rather than incidental role. Doklady Physical Chemistry is a monthly journal containing English translations of current Russian research in physical chemistry from the Physical Chemistry sections of the Doklady Akademii Nauk (Proceedings of the Russian Academy of Sciences).
