Founded in 1857 as Berliner Entomologische Zeitschrift, Deutsche Entomologische Zeitschrift is one of the World's oldest international journals of systematic entomology. It publishes original research papers in English on the systematics, taxonomy, phylogeny, comparative morphology, and biogeography of insects. Other arthropods are also considered where of relevance to the biology of insects. The geographical scope of the journal is worldwide. Deutsche Entomologische Zeitschrift (DEZ) is dedicated to provide an open access, high-quality forum to contribute to the documentation of insect species, their distribution, their properties, and their phylogenetic relationships. All submitted manuscripts are subject to peer-review by the leading specialists for the respective topic. The journal is published in open access high-resolution PDF, semantically enriched HTML and machine-readable XML versions.

EJE publishes original articles, reviews and points of view on all aspects of entomology. There are no restrictions on geographic region or taxon (Myriapoda, Chelicerata and terrestrial Crustacea included). Comprehensive studies and comparative/experimental approaches are preferred and the following types of manuscripts will usually be declined: - Descriptive alpha-taxonomic studies unless the paper is markedly comprehensive/revisional taxonomically or regionally, and/or significantly improves our knowledge of comparative morphology, relationships or biogeography of the higher taxon concerned; - Other purely or predominantly descriptive or enumerative papers [such as (ultra)structural and functional details, life tables, host records, distributional records and faunistic surveys, compiled checklists, etc.] unless they are exceptionally comprehensive or concern data or taxa of particular entomological (e.g., phylogenetic) interest; - Papers evaluating the effect of chemicals (including pesticides, plant extracts, attractants or repellents, etc.), irradiation, pathogens, or dealing with other data of predominantly agro-economic impact without general entomological relevance.

The Journal of the American Mosquito Control Association (JAMCA) encourages the submission of previously unpublished manuscripts contributing to the advancement of knowledge of mosquitoes and other arthropod vectors. The Journal encourages submission of a wide range of scientific studies that include all aspects of biology, ecology, systematics, and integrated pest management. Manuscripts exceeding normal length (e. g., monographs) may be accepted for publication as a supplement to the regular issue.

Entomological Research is the successor of the Korean Journal of Entomology. Published by the Entomological Society of Korea (ESK) since 1970, it is the official English language journal of ESK, and publishes original research articles dealing with any aspect of entomology. International Journal of Tropical Insect Science is the only journal devoted exclusively to the latest research in tropical and sub-tropical insect science. Each issue brings you original, peer-reviewed research findings on tropical insects and related arthropods, with special emphasis on their environmentally benign and sustainable management. The Journal"s scope includes arthropod ecology and biodiversity, ethno-entomology, arthropod taxonomy, integrated pest and vector management, and environmental issues. Acarologia is a free open-access journal. Please help us by submitting manuscripts in accordance with following instructions. All manuscripts which do not conform to the instructions will be returned to authors without the benefit of review. Acarologia publishes the results of original research on all aspects of Acarology. The journal policy is that taxonomic descriptions should include several species within a same genus/family, when possible. The editors reserve the right to refuse manuscripts when authors intentionally divide individual species descriptions of the same genus/family into distinct publications. Single species descriptions should be clearly justified based on their scientific interest.

Austral Entomology is a scientific journal of entomology for the Southern Hemisphere. It publishes Original Articles that are peer-reviewed research papers from the study of the behaviour, biology, biosystematics, conservation biology, ecology, evolution, forensic and medical entomology, molecular biology, public health, urban entomology, physiology and the use and control of insects, arachnids and myriapods. The journal also publishes Reviews on research and theory or commentaries on current areas of research, innovation or rapid development likely to be of broad interest – these may be submitted or invited. Book Reviews will also be considered provided the works are of global significance. Manuscripts from authors in the Northern Hemisphere are encouraged provided that the research has relevance to or broad readership within the Southern Hemisphere. The Annales publish original papers covering the various fields of Entomology such as Systematics, Faunistics, Phylogeny, Ecology, Evolutionary Biology and Agricultural, Veterinary and Medical Entomology. The manuscripts are written preferably in French or English with a summary in both languages. Review articles and short communications of no more than two printed pages and book reviews are also encouraged. The Annales are published quarterly amounting to about 500 pages per year.

Applied Entomology and Zoology publishes articles concerned with applied entomology, applied zoology, agricultural chemicals and pest control in English. Contributions of a basic and fundamental nature may be accepted at the discretion of the Editor. Manuscripts of original research papers, technical notes and reviews are accepted for consideration. No manuscript that has been published elsewhere will be accepted for publication.

Founded in 1947 by Ross H. Arnett, Jr., The Coleopterists Bulletin is a refereed quarterly journal, which includes a wide variety of articles on taxonomy and ecology of beetles (Coleoptera). Both members and non-members may submit manuscripts for consideration for publication.
