This journal is a cover-to-cover translation into English of Algebra i Analiz, published six times a year by the mathematics section of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The journal publishes original research papers on various fields of mathematics, e.g., algebra, algebraic geometry, analysis, combinatorics, dynamical systems, geometry, mathematical logic, mathematical statistics, number theory, probability theory, set theory, statistical physics and topology.
The journal mainly welcomes contributions in: Algebra Mathematical Analysis and Applications Geometry Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations Numerical Analysis Approximation Theory Mathematical Programming Mechanics and Astronomy Mathematical Modeling in Economics and Biology.
To promote research interactions between local and overseas researchers, the Department has been publishing an international mathematics journal, the Tamkang Journal of Mathematics. The journal started as a biannual journal in 1970 and is devoted to high-quality original research papers in pure and applied mathematics. In 1985 it has become a quarterly journal. The four issues are out for distribution at the end of March, June, September and December. The articles published in Tamkang Journal of Mathematics cover diverse mathematical disciplines. Submission of papers comes from all over the world. All articles are subjected to peer review from an international pool of referees.
Theory of Probability and Its Applications (TVP) accepts original articles and communications on the theory of probability, general problems of mathematical statistics, and applications of the theory of probability to natural science and technology. Articles of the latter type will be accepted only if the mathematical methods applied are essentially new.

Topology and its Applications is primarily concerned with publishing original research papers of moderate length. However, a limited number of carefully selected survey or expository papers are also included. The mathematical focus of the journal is that suggested by the title: Research in Topology. It is felt that it is inadvisable to attempt a definitive description of topology as understood for this journal. Certainly the subject includes the algebraic, general, geometric, and set-theoretic facets of topology as well as areas of interactions between topology and other mathematical disciplines, e.g. topological algebra, topological dynamics, functional analysis, category theory. Since the roles of various aspects of topology continue to change, the non-specific delineation of topics serves to reflect the current state of research in topology. At regular intervals, the journal publishes a section entitled Open Problems in Topology, edited by J. van Mill and G.M. Reed. This is a status report on the 1100 problems listed in the book of the same name published by North-Holland in 1990, edited by van Mill and Reed.

This bimonthly journal publishes results of the latest research in the areas of modern general algebra and of logic considered primarily from an algebraic viewpoint. The algebraic papers, constituting the major part of the contents, are concerned with studies in such fields as ordered, almost torsion-free, nilpotent, and metabelian groups; isomorphism rings; Lie algebras; Frattini subgroups; and clusters of algebras. In the area of logic, the periodical covers such topics as hierarchical sets, logical automata, and recursive functions. Algebra and Logic is a translation of ALGEBRA I LOGIKA, a publication of the Siberian Fund for Algebra and Logic and the Institute of Mathematics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. All articles are peer-reviewed.
Algebra Universalis publishes papers in universal algebra, lattice theory, and related fields. In a pragmatic way, one could define the areas of interest of the journal as the union of the areas of interest of the members of the Editorial Board. In addition to research papers, we are also interested in publishing high quality survey articles.

Annales Polonici Mathematici is a continuation of Annales de la Société Polonaise de Mathématique (vols. I–XXV) founded in 1921 by Stanisław Zaremba. The journal publishes papers in Mathematical Analysis and Geometry. Each volume appears in three issues.
The Journal "Beiträge zur Algebra und Geometrie / Contributions to Algebra and Geometry" was founded in 1971 on the occasion of the 65th birthday of O.-H. Keller. It publishes research articles in the areas of algebra, geometry, algebraic geometry and related fields, preferably in English language.
