Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Dergisi is one of the journals’ of Ankara University, which is the first well-established university in the Republic of Turkey. Research articles, short communications, case reports, letter to editor and invited review articles are published on all aspects of veterinary medicine and animal science. The journal is published on a quarterly since 1954 and indexing in Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-Exp) since April 2007.

The IJVM journal is a peer reviewed research and clinical journal devoted to reporting original investigations and observations in the field of veterinary medicine with emphasis on the area covering the Middle East and the Mediterranean Basin. The journal accepts review articles, original research articles and case reports. Diagnostic exercise presentations are also accepted. Although the scope of the journal covers mainly the Middle East and the Mediterranean Basin region we will accept articles from all over the world which may be of interest to veterinarians. We recognize that in the “global village” we live today research and findings in other regions of the world may have a bearing on our region and vice versa. The Journal places emphasis on the subject of animal rights. Adherence to principles outlined in the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, is implicit. The journal requires written author verification. The editor retains the right to reject manuscripts on the basis of animal ethical or welfare concerns.

Die WTM veröffentlicht Manuskripte, die veterinärmedizinische Fragestellungen (Grundlagenforschung oder klinisch angewandte Forschung) sowie allgemeinmedizinische oder lebensmittelhygienische Fragestellungen mit veterinärmedizinischem Bezug behandeln. Eingereichte Manuskripte werden einem unabhängigen, anonymen Peer Review Verfahren unterzogen.

The Berliner und Münchener Tierärztliche Wochenschrift is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes contributions on all aspects of veterinary public health and its related subjects, such as epidemiology, bacteriology, virology, pathology, immunology, parasitology, and mycology. The journal publishes original research papers, review articles, case studies and short communications on farm animals, companion animals, equines, wild animals and laboratory animals. In addition, the editors regularly commission special issues on topics of major importance. The journal’s articles are published either in German or English and always include an abstract in the other language.

The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine publishes articles reporting interdisciplinary investigations concerning veterinary and animal sciences, at all levels of resolution, from basic to clinical, molecular to behavioral, and opinions that are of general interest to the broad community of veterinarians and biological scientists. Clinical or pathological investigations, protocols and reviews will also be considered for publication if they provide significant insight into the structure or function, the pathophysiology of a disease, or its treatment.

Publica artigos originais de pesquisa sobre temas de medicina veterinária, zootecnia, tecnologia e inspeção de produtos de origem animal e áreas afins relacionadas com a produção animal. Atualmente a revista mantém 628 permutas (419 internacionais e 209 nacionais), sendo um verdadeiro suporte para o recebimento de periódicos pela Biblioteca da Escola. A partir de 1999, a Escola de Veterinária delegou à FEP MVZ Editora o encargo do gerenciamento e edição de todas suas publicações, inclusive do Arquivo, ficando somente com o apoio logístico (instalações, equipamentos, pessoal etc.). O apoio financeiro é exercido pelo CNPq/FINEP e pela própria FEP MVZ.

The Journal of Avian Medicine and Surgery is an international journal of the medicine and surgery of both captive and wild birds. Published materials include scientific articles, case reports, editorials, abstracts, new research, and book reviews.

The Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine (JZWM) is considered one of the major sources of information on the biology and veterinary aspects in the field. It stems from the founding premise of AAZV to share zoo animal medicine experiences. The Journal evolved from the long history of members producing case reports and the increased publication of free-ranging wildlife papers. The Journal accepts manuscripts of original research findings, case reports in the field of veterinary medicine dealing with captive and free-ranging wild animals, brief communications regarding clinical or research observations that may warrant publication. It also publishes and encourages submission of relevant editorials, reviews, special reports, clinical challenges, abstracts of selected articles and book reviews. The Journal is published quarterly, is peer reviewed, is indexed by the major abstracting services, and is international in scope and distribution. Areas of interest include clinical medicine, surgery, anatomy, radiology, physiology, reproduction, nutrition, parasitology, microbiology, immunology, pathology (including infectious diseases and clinical pathology), toxicology, pharmacology, and epidemiology.

In Practice is published 10 times a year and provides continuing educational material for veterinary practitioners. It includes clinical articles, written by experts in their field and covering all species, providing a regular update on clinical developments, and articles on veterinary practice management. All articles are peer-reviewed. First published in 1979, it now provides an extensive archive of clinical review articles. In Practice is produced in conjunction with Vet Record, the official journal of the British Veterinary Association (BVA). It is published on behalf of the BVA by BMJ Group.

The Scandinavian Journal of Laboratory Animal Science (SJLAS), published by Scand-LAS, is a longstanding international journal advancing knowledge about comparative medicine and laboratory animal science and welfare through the publication of peer-reviewed articles about animal models, animal biology, laboratory animal medicine, laboratory animal pathology, animal behaviour, animal biotechnology and related topics. Articles include technical reports and reviews about basic and applied laboratory investigations, clinical investigations, and case studies, as well as informed and thoughtful opinions relevant to the humane care and use of laboratory animals. SJLAS also includes advertisements from all major suppliers of laboratory animals, caging systems, food, bedding and other relevant equipment for laboratory animal housing, husbandry and experimentation. In addition it includes news from the Scand-LAS Association, as well as an updated comprehensive list of upcoming relevant meetings, conferences and symposia.

Since 1985, Pferdeheilkunde – Equine Medicine publishes scientific articles from all fields of equine medicine in German and English language as well as abstracts of the international professional literature. The journal appears bimonthly.

The Vlaams Diergeneeskundig Tijdschrift (ISSN 0303-9021) is a scientific journal that is published bimonthly (six issues per year). It presents mainly clinical topics and addresses itself to two very different readerships: the local Dutch speaking veterinarians in Belgium and the Netherlands, and the international veterinary and biomedical research community. Each issue contains scientific papers either in English, or in Dutch with an English abstract.

Archivos de Medicina Veterinaria is published by the Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias, Universidad Austral de Chile. Contributions are invited on the veterinary and scientific aspects of cattle health and production/bovine health management. Cattle Practice is the journal of the British Cattle Veterinary Association, submissions should be relevant to the practice of cattle veterinary medicine in the UK or in similar industries globally.
