Oxford German Studies is a fully refereed journal, and publishes in English and German, aiming to present contributions from all countries and to represent as wide a range of topics and approaches throughout German studies as can be achieved. The thematic coverage of the journal continues to be based on an inclusive conception of German studies, centred on the study of German literature from the Middle Ages to the present, but extending a warm welcome to interdisciplinary and comparative topics, and to contributions from neighbouring areas such as language study and linguistics, history, philosophy, sociology, music, and art history. The editors are literary scholars, but seek advice from specialists in other areas as appropriate.

Founded in 1970, Research in African Literatures is the premier journal of African literary studies worldwide and provides a forum in English for research on the oral and written literatures of Africa, as well as information on African publishing, announcements of importance to Africanists, and notes and queries of literary interest. scrutiny2 is a double blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes original manuscripts on theoretical and practical concerns in English literary studies in southern Africa, particularly tertiary education. Uniquely southern African approaches to southern African concerns are sought, although manuscripts of a more general nature will be considered. The journal is aimed at an audience of specialists in English literary studies. While the dominant form of manuscripts published will be the scholarly article, the journal will also publish poetry, as well as other forms of writing such as the essay, review essay, conference report and polemical position piece. This journal is accredited with the South African Department of Higher Education and Training.

Al meer dan een eeuw wordt het Tijdschrift voor Nederlandse taal- en letterkunde uitgegeven door de Maatschappij der Nederlandse letterkunde te Leiden. TNTL richt zich op de historische neerlandistiek in de ruimste zin. Men vindt er artikelen over historische taalkunde (inclusief lexicografie) en diachrone aspecten van taalvariatie in het (hedendaagse) Nederlands, alsmede over de letterkunde vanaf de Middeleeuwen tot het einde van de twintigste eeuw. The scientific journal Acta Neophilologica is the review of Slovenian experts in English-speaking, German-speaking and French- and Italian-speaking literary historians that publishes scientific studies of international and domestic scientists in the field of Western-European, American and other literatures in English. The journal pays special attention to the problems from the history of cultural and especially literary and theatre contacts between Slovenia and Western-European literatures, as well as the problems of Slovenian emigrant literature. The articles are published in the world language (English, German, French, Italian) the literature of which the author analyzes, the abstracts are written in a foreign language and the summaries in the Slovenian language.
